_Marty_ said _DJ Peterson_ booked a room, and used _Scott Hall's_ name to get his discount. _(Peterson apparently looked enough like Scott at the time to do that regularly)_ He said he was hanging out there with several other people, and broke a lamp, that he paid for the next morning when they checked out. Putting his particular name on the books. _Bulldog Bob Brown_ hyped it up to _Scott_ as though it was a malicious rib by _Marty,_ that risked getting him fired, so _Scott_ attacked him. _Marty_ mentioned _Scott_ told him about it sometime after.

@googlemyself4091 Scott Hall was a strip club bouncer before he ever got involved in pro wrestling. He killed a guy in a parking lot brawl while working as a bouncer. Now maybe none of that proves that Scott Hall was a bad ass but there are enough stories out there to lead anyone, who knows what the fuck they are talking about, to lead one to believe that the man was more than capable of handling himself. When Scott Hall was a young guy, there was no UFC, and guys who fought MMA made nowhere near the kind of money that top UFC fighters make today. In his day a top professional wrestler could make far more money than a top MMA fighter could. The guy was 6'6"-6'7" and jacked at around 270, give or take, in his prime, and again, he had a reputation as being a strip club bouncer who could handle himself. Even if Scott Hall wasn't a bad ass Marty Jannetty should have known he would be no match for a pissed off Scott Hall. And for that matter I wager you wouldn't be either.

All breaking kayfabe and Vince McMahon did was accelerate what was already going to happen. Pro wrestling has had a long and storied run, but nothing lasts unchanged. WWE and WCW and the Japanese/Mexican wrestling promotions took it as far as it could have gone in the 1980's and 1990's. Now kayfabe is a memory, and the new generations have a million other alternative hobbies that wrestling has no choice but to share the spotlight with. Times change, audiences change. If wrestling was like a TV series they would have ended/cancelled it long before now. They want to still act like it is a competitive sport, it isn't, it's a show, now more than ever before, just a show with all it's secrets and best parts compromised. Just a show like all shows that came along that has already seen it's best days. Can't pretend what just isn't true any longer but they will keep going, smoke and mirrors or whatever. Just because you get a TV contract with a major network like Fox doesn't mean it is any good. So much no good TV anymore no one keeps track and they just cancel it and move on to the next crummy Vince Russo like ideas. Or they keep on showing something that is awful but felt to be required to have air time for what is blatantly considered diversity purposes. Even commercials now have gone from bad to awful and untolerable.
