Kevin Durant been in the NBA since 2007 and he's only 22-23 years old. Already a 3-time Scoring Champion at that age is Really Really Amazing.

thats because we never seen KD really show off his passing skills yet. i have a feeling hes gonna be dropping some dimes this season. hes already starting to do it in these pick up games that are going on during the off season. the guy just keeps getting better and better.

the nba is currently set up beautifully for a legendary rivalry between these two. Both young, both superstars, both on excellent teams, this could be the rivalry for this generation.

Kevin Durant is a joy to watch. wins, scores a 30 a night without attitude, shoots 90% from the line, took his team to an NBA final already and he's only 24! Take some lessons Carmelo. Winners matter in May and June....not Nov and Dec.

I really have so much respect for Durant now. Alot. As a Lakers fan myself, I just can't show how much respect I have for Durant. How much I gained after they lost these finals. When he went to hug is mother and father, he got a bit emotional which just shows how much love and how much effort he put in to get this far. It was frustrating. Yet, in the postgame conference, he shows gratitude to the Heat. I like this guy :)

somebody asked kevin durant about his inspiration and who he’s looking to emulate in the league and he said Kobe Bryant KD said “I’ve really been looking at the mental aspect of the game, how [Bryant] approaches it, watching film, studying opponents, just making sure he’s vocal every time down,” Durant said. “Posting up, the footwork that he uses posting up and how patient he is on the offensive end. I’m learning, every single day. I know that I work hard thats what Kevin Durant said

i agree. so all of you who don't agree, call me a hater or whatever else you feel is necessary but he is the future of the nba. to do what hes doing this early in his career is incredible. he also has 10x more heart and toughness than lebron. his determination and will to win is apparent. he wont back down from anyone or any late game situation. he combines fearlessness with his skill and will power and its gonna take him a very long way.

Honestly, I think KD deserves to be MVP. He is the best player out there - in my opinion - because he sees the floor so well and scores in bunches. He's had only one year of college and and five years of pro to get to where he is and I find that incredible. Please don't give me that cliche LeBron James stuff because I just don't think hes up for it. Kevin Durant actually passes instead of just scoring somehow manages to do both extremely proficiently. I hope to see more attention coming his way.

Though I think that is a big reflection of Durant. They know their star player will rise up when the team needs it no matter what the game is throwing at them..no matter how much time is left on the clock which makes the other players want to rise up too.Their confidence is high from start to finish. You can't say that about the Heat because they don't know who they are in the 4th quarter.Their confidence drops in tight, closing type games especially with Wade hurt. It could change but it hasnt yet

That just shows you how good he is ...The fact that he can get to the free throw line consistantly and get high % shots all the time suggests that he is hard to guard and a lot better than you give him credit. You don't make it to the final round of play-offs if your shit and pretty much hold the whole team on your back. And all this from a Clipper fan.

If you are to compare two players then do it when they play against each other. So far this year we have: April 4:Thunder(93)-Heat(98)-->KD(30p-4r-3a)-LJ(34p-7r-10a) March 25:Heat(87)-Thunder(103)-->LJ(17p-3r-7a)-KD(28p-9r-8a) It comes down to a one to one perfomance but in average with have LJ(25.5p-5r-8.5a) and KD(29p-6.5r-5.5a)!For what I see KD is the man!ALL AROUND

I feel the same way about D Rose. And to think that we have players like Rose, LeBron, and KD who are not too far apart in age. Man it is going to be a battle for these guys to ear themselves a ring. Im afraid that some of these type players will end up like Ewing and Charles. Very successful yet still ringless. I feel bad for myself that i didn't get to see MJ in his prime in 92 and 93 but I'm getting to see LeBron, Rose, and Kd tear it up! :D

Being Clutch is something Jordan,Bird,Kobe, and Magic had, its unfortunate Lebron doesn't have the closing mentality when the game is tied with minutes left but I agree with what you said. Durant is hands down a better scorer, it's effortless.
