I don't care what his reputation is. The man played on an injured ankle in the 2019 Finals, giving up an entire season of his career to injury just to give the Warriors a shot at winning just one game. In my heart he'll always be a Warrior. 💛💙

As a GSW fan, I will always be grateful to Durant. He may have a dubious reputation. Many people don't like him. But this man helped to win titles. He went out to play with pain and injections. He deserves respect and boundless love. We know that he always wanted to be No. 1 in the team and a favorite and GSW couldn't give him that. But he, in turn, gave everything he could.

with pain and injection? lol, you should see what guys like jokic went through, way worse, I followed him since he was drafted, people wanted him traded or didn't think he would be anything, same with murray, they were getting garbage, when they were getting blown out in games, people mocked them and laughed at them, I still remember when warriors beat them 142-110, people were saying, warriors forgot they were warriors and can smash worthless teams like nuggets, even look at how you guys are when you beat them in the 1st round, and what jokic had to hear "fake MVP guy" "overrated and soft" "can't score on draymond or warriors defense" cheering against him when he got ejected, lakers clowning him in 2020 and putting him in foul trouble because league takes lakers side, thats what pain and injection looks like, he lost with no help or league propaganda, grinded with murray and won, thats what we should be proud of, not someone going to a dynasty team to get an already made easy ring, and has to deal with few little hater guys who get tuned off anyway by your base

but they could have, if they had the competitive will, they didn't, so they bought KD off of thunder, so they wouldn't play them next year, I thought warriors could be a true dynasty like kobe's dynasty recently, but no, NBA has changed for good when bron stacked superteams and kd went to gsw

If you remove him and ignore what they can get without him sure. But let’s not act like there’s a world where Warriors couldn’t get other players to make their roster deep 😂

KD will learn when it's all said and done, that his time in the bay will be the highlight of his career. KD is an all-time great no doubt, but until he wins another ring, people will soon realize that it's not the Warriors that needed KD, but the other way around. Sure, the Warriors might not have won the two rings in '17 and '18, but so does KD. He'd still be ringless to this day. Steph and the Warriors have won BEFORE and AFTER KD, and these are indisputable facts. KD is a HoF'er, but the chemistry he had with Steph and the Dubs is unmatched. He has teamed up with other superstars and has been in other superteams after his Warriors tenure but he has yet to win a ring.
