    You forgot that Harden declined the extension from OKC because of 2 million dollars! They had no choice he was gonna walk in free agency.

    @@LosersRus_2 They made an offer its business you either take it or counteroffer. He did neither and instead said let me think about it. What did you expect them to do? Wait around? that is not how business is done you take the best deal you got right now as waiting more often than not will cost you money as it will potentially lose you future sales waiting on something that is not a guarantee. This point was very clearly proven with KD and they lost big should of traded him when he refused to sign an extension but they let ppl like you get in there heads over the whole Harden thing and waited.

    @warrenhicks8988 is that why they went rebuilding? Let's be real, where else would kd go to get a ring chance? No one was winning that Cleveland or gsw. Maybe spurs, but you get zero business opportunities there and no guarantee.

    @warrenhicks8988 what? No. Season 2016 when durant left, the next best player after westbrook was an up and coming oladipo. He left when they traded serge ibaka. Now imagine, if durant stayed, he would have had westbrook and a 4th year oladipo as his 3 best players. Then you have Steven Adam's and other people with less than 3 years. Sorry but he would have wasted his prime and be haunted with no ring like Barkley, yao, tmac, and AI.

    lol he coulda went and talked to the damn GM he was the face of the franchise that’s just him being passive, he gotta take accountability for his own shit sometimes, you was scared you let Russ run the team and when you left you had shit to say, Durant shoulda been a man and stood on business let them know what he didn’t like and what he’s gonna stand for he never gave the front office the chance because he never said shit so they thought he was cool with it

    You don't know that. Aaron Rodgers was a 4x mvp and claimed the front office in Green Bay didn't wanna hear a word he had to say about personnel decisions. These millionaire GMs who have been doing it for decades are probably not very interested in a 25 year old basketball players thoughts on contract negotiations

    He should’ve went to the clippers instead of golden state. Him Chris Paul would’ve looked better instead of going for the best team. Kyrie bron vs kd and cp3 would’ve been epic. The clippers were usually a playoff team he wouldn’t have looked soft if he went there and stayed. Clippers always needed the help golden state won before and after him

    Sam Presti (GM for the OKC thunder) made the mistake of signing Ibaka first for 50 million and that simply didn't leave enough money to offer Harden what he was worth. They should have waited and signed Harden first and given him whatever he wanted and if they lost Ibaka then so be it. Ibake was the expendable player, not Harden. If they had kept Harden OKC would have become a dynasty and won an untold number of championships. I still can't believe they traded Harden.

    Players should not be able to chose everything. They work for the franchise not the other way around. Tf has gotten into these athletes thinking they're GMs. Thats why MJ is so respected and Kobe.

  • @CrossCuts

    @CrossCuts

    7 ай бұрын

    Yeah I agree with that to a certain point. What Harden did in the last couple years was just ridiculous. But think about other players like Jrue Holiday, Marcus Smart or Isaiah Thomas (this one who played for Boston). They've all wanted to play for their respective franchises until the end of their careers but GMs just traded them without even informing them about that. In that case why players should be loyal to their franchises if they could be traded with just a one phone call. Or look at Dame. He gave it all on and off the court for Blazers and they couldn't build good roster around him. Kobe and MJ was loyal until the end but look that they've always got good teams around them. Kobe thought about leaving the Lakers around 2006-2007 and Lakers traded for Pau Gasol just to make him stay in the team.
