Kevin Durant joins Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson & Darius Miles | The Players' Tribune

Спорт

This week’s Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles welcomes on MVP, two-time NBA champ, and future Hall of Famer Kevin Durant. KD looks back on his meteoric rise, and pinpoints the moment when he figured out he could play in the NBA. He also talks about how special his time at Texas was, and reveals where he originally wanted to go to school. The trio moves on to a review of the 2007 draft, and how KD believed the Trail Blazers would have been a perfect fit for his game. They then dive into KD’s time in Oklahoma City, specifically the dynamic between him, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden - before they all became MVPs. Kevin remembers how intense their practices were, how proud he was when they won their MVP awards, and what could have been had the three of them not been broken up. The discussion then switches to the Warriors - they discuss the possibility of a three-peat, how Kevin’s shot has improved from playing with Steph and Klay, and why he didn’t get that emotional after winning his first championship. One of the NBA’s best players has a lot to say. You will not want to miss Kevin Durant.

K.D. seemed really at ease. I have to hand it to Que and Darius, the way you formatted the questions was genius. You asked relevant questions, but didn't overwhelm K.D. That's where a lot of so-called 'jounalists' mess up with him. Plus, since you're both hoopers, he trusted your knowledge and experience when talking about the game. #Priceless

He outscored him and shot the 3 ball Jordan wasnt known for the 3 ball......their jump shots were different as well. Jordan wasnt hitting fall away shots out of bounds either. Jordan's defense was better than Kobes. The only similarity was their high post fades and mid range fades.......shhhhhhh!

Kd said it best, when you on the court just hooping, you can tell who’s the best player or the most skilled. I can understand why he said mj and Kobe number one and two. When you hooping outdoors in the streets, it’s just straight dominating, not trying to rack up stats like the players do now.
