i loved when kd said the goat conversation is completely subjective. how much do you value a chip? how much do you value a FMVP? how much do you value an MVP? DPOY? All-stars? etc. anyone who truley understands the game of basketball doesn’t need to look at any accolades to tell you that man is one of the greatest players to ever touch the ball. in my opinion if we’re just talking about how much a single player impacts winning he’s the third best player to every touch the ball but unfortunately people don’t wanna look it at objectively.

You are the only superstar who engages in a convo about your craft with some random folks. At least we know you are a human being not some Villain as they promote you as. I have come to terms with the role they portray you as it’s about business. Remember that there was never no hype about you coming into the league as they assumed cause of your size you couldn’t succeed. Just few months ago you entered the top ten in points in the history of all the greats which have played. What is amazing is how consistent you have been throughout your career always putting up whatever it takes. Coming back from that injury putting up historic performances and being so close is a movie alone. Then leading your country when many of your peers didn’t come through afterwards on the world stage is another glorious moment. There is nothing you have to prove to the real fans who have witnessed everything. They keep bringing up your 2 championships and 2 Finals MVP in many debates about whether you earned them or not. They are not blind as we all watched you dominate from the moment you stepped into the Bay Area. More than anything I actually want to acknowledge their franchise player who didn’t show any selfishness and let you be what you were. You didn’t shy away from the moment and took over which is credit to everyone there and you being prepared for it. Can’t take nothing away from you. You got understand that the game has evolved and the brand doesn’t just want to sale about who can fly and throw it down which was the most exciting for so long. It has now moved to long range at a high clip and they wanted to market that. So in order to sale that brand they had to raise that specific player or face of what they wanted to promote. In that business plan to raise him higher they had minimize his teammates impact less. Just say you are the casualty in the game of brand promotion. Plus they want to reach as many buyers as possible so with that player having families and kids they want to target all families and kids. But to keep reaching to every households they have to keep saying that player name and since you are associated they have to take shots at you in the same sentence. Nothing personal just business. To make matters worse they already have one other player they focused all their money on before until you came along. Once they realized you were actually that great they made some room for you until the third player came into his own later on. So you had one they wanted to be the next big thing better than MJ to sale more brands and here comes this tall one who can do everything we need to give a shot at it. Then while that market is taking foot boy did he come in there splashing from long range. One already had a ground and so much has been invested into and you were being invested in to certain extent but once the third one came they had to put a pause on your marketing strategy. The fans buy into it and it works as most believe it’s cause of you their chosen one didn’t get 6 to end that greatest debate which still goes on. The fans of the other is also saying it’s cause of how great that long range was you dominated to get 2 fmvps. We get it but your consistency and efficiency over your whole career has shown us you can do it with any one on that mountain. As a fan I used to get mad and angry about why they disrespecting you but I have long come to understand it’s more about business. One more thing I still believe on your biggest games that to push that business forward they let the opponents get away with too much fouls on you cause none can guard you if they called them fouls. Hopefully they let you play without being held and pushed around so we witness your last few years as you have done so much for the game. You are the greatest in my eyes.

If I was the warriors front office I woulda traded dray the second the clippers incident happened and he refused to apologize. Yeah they still got another chip after he left but let’s be honest no team is beating them if they’re healthy in a 7 game series, if kd had stayed they’d prolly be going for like their 6th ring together rn. And as a front office ur job is to build a championship roster not to care about things such as draymond being a warrior from day 1. From a basketball standpoint kd is by far the better player so that’s who you keep that loyalty stuff doesn’t matter if it means rings. I’m glad it went down how it did tho so we don’t have to see gsw still winning lol

Draymond didn’t destroy anything. They won a championship without KD.

Kevin Durant is the 🐐 in more ways than one! 🌟 Not only does he dominate on the court with his skills and finesse, but he also inspires others with his charitable work and positive impact off the court. 🕊️❤️️‍🔥
