Can somebody tell me, what exactly are the lawyers selling when they cha green you thousands to make out an “Iron clad prenup”, and then when the divorce comes up, it appears to be null and void???

She signed the prenuptial, that's it. Anything else is solely at Kevin's discretion to give. She has no legal grounds. She knew his job and his passion and signed the prenuptial anyway.

we live in a world where almost nobody thinks they have any obligation to comply with law. If she has an issue it should be confined to attorney who advised her to sign on these conditions if one did. I find it unbelievable she is this stupid. I do not have the impression he leaves his children in any kind of want certainly not need. So she decides to use them as a battering ram to get to him ? Not clear he was looking for a divorce.

Legally she is allowed to stay there with her children until all financial arrangements have been made according to the prenup.If he has had an affair then the prenup changes in that state. The attorneys have advised her to stay there. Kevin is certainly not homeless as he says he is. He owns several properties. It’s quite interesting that he never wanted to be home with his wife and children ever before she filed for divorce. I’ve lost great respect for Costner which I had when he was the huge actor as John Dutton. He reminded me so much of my dear father who was a strong man full of morals and character . He always took time for my mother and us three children . After his actions I have lost respect for him. He certainly acted like he loved his wife and children in real life. She has learned something that we don’t know about him or something he has done to cause her to file for divorce. Beth Dutton has been asked to leave the show so it could be something between Kevin and Beth that went on. I don’t have any proof about this. It was strange that Kevin didn’t go home to see his family even when he could go. So Christine had a right to have been upset. Hollywood is a place where movie stars fall in love with a beautiful woman like Christine and then when a sexy lady comes on screen and gets to your emotions, you forget your wife, and have another fling. It’s all so sad that it’s that way today, and not just in Hollywood. Our world is filled with lust, trash and poor family life. Children suffer the most .

The agreement was made before children were in the relationship. The kids should come first, their stability in life. He decided to stay busy with the things he wanted to do in life which keeps him away from his family. His decisions were made from a selfish standpoint.

One Million Dollar Pre-Nup and No Children at that point in 2004. Fast Forward to 2023, 19 years later and 3 Children later! I would be laughing my behind all the way to the Bank if I was Costner, considering his wealth in 2004 versus THEIR wealth in 2023. Yes, he's paid a small sum out over the 1 million dollar payout or offering to payout per the Pre-Nup, but again, what have they accumulated above his 2004 Wealth before the Pre-Nup, and now 19 years later and 3 children in this picture? He really needs to get right on the MONEY or Wealth, based upon 2023 dollars and their gain in money or wealth, since 2004! If he get's right on the MONEY, in TODAY'S Dollars, I bet she leaves the house! If enforced, that Pre-Nup is a SWEETHEART DEAL for COSTNER, that does not really morally and ethically account for 19 years of wealth gain together and the gift of 3 children! Not really sure where the redidence is. But surely he could give her o e of them. Whether its in the pre-mup or not. The quicker this thing is settled the better for everyone. Need to think of the children.

There's been no love in their relationship for years. She only stuck around for the money. I don't blame him at all for trying to find happiness with someone. And BTW, the rumors about him hooking up with someone on set is just a rumor. There's been nothing to prove that is truth or fact. And the rumor was that it was somebody behind the scenes, not one of the actresses. Typically, normal everyday people are more loving than stuck up gold diggers. If he is having an affair, I can understand why, bc he was looking for happiness, especially since he wasn't getting it from his wife.
