The reason Kevin Costner is not returning to the show is because of two reasons one is because of the film days of the show because he's doing Horizon and the second reason is because him and Taylor Sheridan do not say eye to eye on things about the character of John Dutton,,, in the new season ge will be replaced by Matthew McConaughey,,, also in the new season Cole Hauser aka Rip takes Jamie to the train station
