Same with Kesha. I'm not a fan per se, but I know a lot of her music from that era because it was the go to music for clubbing at the time.

@@CartierBacardi long story short, she was SA'd by her producer, she went to court against him and also to break off her record deal with the label but court sided with the label and she had to fulfill her contract and release 2 more albums with them. She accomplished that and now she's free.

If the money they gave isn't enough, the artist would use their own money to pay for the over expenses. And in case there's any amount left from that $5 mill, it would be for the artist and his/her people
