It's been a long time since I've laughed this much. I was already giggling when you flew past the hovering cockpit, but the complete detachment of the rear of the aircraft just did it. Now I got tears running down my beard ...

Even before I clicked play, I thought, "Executive Decision" Spot on!

I was just looking at socialblade to see how the livestream incident affected your channel, and noticed that you somehow lost 1.2k views on the 26th. I don't know how you managed to have people go back in time and not watch your videos, but you did it. Also, it's too soon to tell weather the incident has done any permanent damage.

Scott is an expert at getting things Hijacked now.

Executive Decision is the movie that had some kid in my class trying to tell me that the F-117 had a crew of 8 people. And not believing me that it was a single seat.

I honestly laughed so hard that my sides hurt. 100/10, would watch a plane fall apart again

IIRC, they used the F117 nighthawk as the docking plane. It kinda worked in that few people knew anything about it and they only had to double or triple the size of the real jet in order to get a passenger compartment in place of the bomb bay... :)

Executive order was exactly what I was thinking when you paned out. it was a great nostalgic moment thank you. :) the moment the cockpit went to space, cracking up. great video like always. again thay you Scott. ~Rastaoneeye~

That whole scene with the magical cockpit reminds me of one of the first episodes of Interstellar Quest where Scott looked at a detached stage doing weird things in Farem Aerospace. "What Laws of Aerodynamics are You Following?!"

wow, your first blooper attempt at hijack recovery, looked almost exactly like the infamous XB-70 experimental supersonic plane crash. a test plane clipped its wing, rolled over the top and clipped the other wing, crashing all aircraft.

What you can also do is park one plane on the side of the runway, get another on the runway. Then, while they're both on the ground, throttle one up and release the brake. You have a split second to switch to the other plane before it starts going the 0.2 meters per second cutoff point for switching vehicles while on the ground. Once you get them in the air, you should be able to switch between them freely. This is what I've usually done. Who knows, maybe Squad has changed it so you can't do that since I last checked.

Ah yes, it was only a matter of time before we got the Bane Kerman experience. The fire rises, brother.

There is only one possible explanation to this. Bad Guy Kerman was more devious than we thought! He hijacked the aircraft because he knew you would use that plane to mount a rescue mission, thereby leading to a set of CPU instructions based on the conditions of the rescue that he tricked you into designing, causing the computer to begin running arbitrary physics instructions. The physics breaking wasn't just a feature of KSP, it was Bad Guy Kerman escaping out of the game into the computer.. and you just helped him spread to the entire internet!

That cockpit got in to orbit better than me in a rocket !
