awesome video, the perch are biting it well! I am very surprised though because with that huge bead you are able to still hook the fish!

Different than a slab grabber. Different profile, different patterns, and Owner round bend hook with no bead so you land more fish. If you try one you will see the massive difference :) Thanks for your comment and having a look! If you decide you want to try these, use code BUDDY15 at orderbaits.com and save 15%!! Have a great day!

I got a box of old home made jigging spoons from a 60 some year old guy that got them from his father in law many years ago that look almost identical to those taco spoons and I have been sitting on them for a few years. After watching this I am going to be taking them out next time I go perch fishing and giving them a try. Last time I went to my go to ice fishing lake for perch my buddy and I landed 150 of them in 4 hours without anything like a taco spoon. (only 37 were jumbo) I am really curious if a spoon like that would make a difference. Worth a shot.

Pinch your barbs. Getting the hooks out is easier. Less damage to the fish. Much faster. It's the law in some parts of Canada. I catch as many fish as the guys using barbed hooks.... Works great.

Drill 2 holes. First one... between your feet ( to look straight down and see your bait. ). Second hole... farther ahead to drop your line down.

This looks awesome. Thanks for sharing the video guys. We just got into ice fishing and not sure where to go. When you mentioned the launch pad are you referring to Beaverton Harbour and Harbour Park? I'd love to go out with my kids this Sunday if ice condition is alright.

3/32oz version. They both work great but the larger version falls faster and triggers the big ones to bite more on Simcoe.

If bite slows down, instead of a Jensen egg put a perch eye on instead. Also stays on the hook quite well. Deadly until all the juices of the eye are gone. Than put on another one lol!
