You got to get out of the basement once in a while. While Kurt does go to some dangerous parts of the country, the average Kenya is less likely to be shot, stabbed than in my cities in the US.

As one who became a father at 20yo I didn't get the chance to travel the world at a young age. Watching your videos helps me see the world in a way that I really appreciate. Until my kids can make it on their own, this is by far enough. Keep doing what you do brother.

your all good man, although i started travelling at 21 im now 43 and if you kee fit you will still be strong enough to travel, ive been to some tough places over the age of 40, and yes i used to be able to walk 9 hrs a day for 3 months and now i can walk 9 hours a day for6 weeks and i will be more tired, but im still easily fit enough for a good 8 week holiday if i dont push it to the apsolute max, also you are mentally much tougher when you are older which actually helps you keep calm when the shit happens , not i said when not if ! you can still do 99.9% of eveything you could at 21 np. Jst make sure you are going to the gym and keeping heaalthy, because if you get fat you cant do shit when you are older. GL, and dont worry, your dreams can still happen.

For comparison, I saw Drew Binsky’s (Close to 4M subscribers) video in Venezuela and did not like him at all. Dude had like 3 local guys running all over the country so he can record his adventures and what’s worst, he’s supposedly a Spanish speaker according to Wikipedia, yet he couldn’t speak it for shit and relied on his buddies/slaves to translate for him. He rushed his destinations, stressed out his guides and was also incredibly cheap with the locals. Kurt not only has a good command of Spanish but he also takes his time and shows the real country and the people and actually connects with the locals. Kurt is by far the best traveller KZreadr I’ve seen so far.

@@MsMesem True but you never know the circumstances. I'm turning 32 soon and I don't really know how to swim. When I was like 3 I almost drowned while on vacation with my family and then a year later same thing happened again, I accidentally went a bit too far in the sea and started to get dragged out and drown. Both times my older brother was close enough to save me but after those incidents my mom formed a phobia of deep water and did not let me go anywhere near water, so I never got the chance to learn. I probably could have done it myself when older but I also had a small fear of it and I also just never went on many vacations where there was water or went to swimming pools so here I am, an adult man who can't swim.

8:00 in the water. I can smell the sea and sand, just like yesterday. We spent our holidays in Mombasa. Brings it all back. Thanks, Kurt. I am second generation Kenya born, like you an African, not a Musungu. 12:33 sea the surf breaking in the distance; that's the reef effect. Stops the sharks coming in. So safe to swim.
