KENYA'S SUPERHIGHWAY | 10 Years of Thika highway | East Africa's first modern highway
Thika Road is an 8-lane controlled-access highway in Kenya, with 12 lanes in some sections. It links the capital city of Nairobi with the industrial town of Thika. The Thika Road forms 50 km of the A2 Highway, which is part of the Cape to Cairo Road.

When the word Thika super high comes hit in our mind we recall former president Mwai Kibaki our hero ,our legend ,we also remember him with FREE primary education.i my self i went primary enjoying free primary education for Mwai Kibaki.may his rest in eternal peace.you will always stick in our memories ❤❤❤❤
Kenya with a best historian
It was completed in 2012, not 2011... I was a first year student at college...I remember I was commuting daily. Traffic jam during its construction especially around muthaiga area to pangani, was terrible. Nlikua natoka home 5.30am in the morning, nafika town CBD 8.00 am a distance of less than 10 Kms. But today thanks to president kibaki, huge difference.

Enock, good work appreciated! Project well done bro. This infrastructure expanded the economy so much and a good regional integration, with the extension of Kenol - Marua Road. Just thinking of how the economy could transform if we had another super highway connecting Nairobi to Nakuru to open up that region as well. Sadly, I dont find any leader, any time soon, who could achieve such a visionary project with transparency and accountability.
