Omanyala now has a big compound, the better you perform, the bigger your home compound becomes; Omanyala's home is already large now, not only western province; now he has relatives in South Africa, America, Europe and Asia. That's a big compound. He will have to hire more cleaners to keep his big compound clean.

@@segebwege4132 this is not credible. He anticipated his seasonal 100mt debut due to his excellent condition. A week ago it wasn't on the list in Nairobi. He ran the indoor 60 in 6.41 a month earlier. This despite reaching the maximum speed just around 50-60 meters. To be honest I think he was hoping for a WR.

It's a very big step in short distance races. But we're far from 9:58. Bolt has many sub 9.8's & 90's. No shade to Omanyala but we have a long way to go. Kudos though! 🍻🍻

Kerley probably have won if he hadn't tired himself out after false start. Unfortunately, we cannot know its potential in view of the World Cup. Omanyala with this time done at 1800 MT with 2m /s wind is not among the contenders for the world gold.

Yeah uploads quoting his 9.85 forget that it was 1800m above sea level, that time would be lucky to break 10sec at normal altitude which would put him well outside of the top sprinters this year, disappointing really I was expecting at least a 9.6

  • @litgamer6205

Not sure if it was a false start, if you watch it frame by frame, the first frame in which he moves everyone else shows some movement too (watch lane 8) which is basically .04 of a sec
