I KNEW I had a UTI that wouldn’t go away, just didn’t know how sick I was until I developed a complete blockage and needed emergency surgery. Thankfully, I didn’t die, and am doing much better. Bless you, and I hope you continue to recover. With your positive attitude, you’ve got what it takes. Women who have chronic UTIs and kidney stones may want to keep our stories in mind.

Right before covid one of my good friends suddenly developed sepsis and died. They got him back but he spent two years either in the hospital or in a nursing home, he died five more times and was resuscitated, he was in a coma, on a ventilator, got pneumonia twice and got covid twice. He got bed sores so bad they had to do skin graft surgeries. Multiple. He's been at home for a few months and he's relearning to walk. He and his wife almost went bankrupt because of the catastrophic costs. He will never work again but he's happy to be able to walk and to be alive. They have no idea what caused his sepsis.

How quickly life can change course. I see more and more people getting sepsis and losing all of their limbs. Do not take chances with your health! My late husband used to minimize any time I was sick. “Oh it’s just (blank). Don’t overreact.” But even though he tried to make me feel stupid for going to the doctor or walk-in clinic, I always followed my gut. Unfortunately, he never got anything checked out and died of lung cancer three weeks after being diagnosed. One of the last things he said was “I should have listened to you and gotten checked out when I first started having problems.” 😢 Prayers for this woman and her family.

My son did not want to live on his disability check he worked so hard for so he opted to go work instead (over 8 yrs now). He is paralyzed from the chest down, cant move or feel below his chest nor move his FINGERS! He can raise his arms down to his wrist but lost his ability to grasp anything. He and we find ways to modify what he needs in order to drive, teach and do things he wants to do. He went to college moved his minor, finished his Degree and even got his Masters. HE IS MY ROCK!!💖

It almost killed me too and I was in one of the best hospitals in Seattle. Beware of weekends and holidays. Resident in training doctors who may be of lesser quality. You get to be their test subjects. They have some rule with insurance companies to release after three days no matter what. That's when I broke out in a life threatening sepsis blood infection. Put on emergency IV antibiotics. Fought this battle for over a year. One incompetent doctor after another. Finally the Lord lead me to a former military combat doctor. He did the opposite of the others. Praise the Lord. Pray in times of trouble.

What is going on that so many people are developing sepsis?!? We're in the process of burying my baby brother. He went to the ER with knee pain on Dec 2, 2023, and was told his knee was infected with sepsis. After losing him four times, theu stabilized him. The medications they gave him while in ICU, caused him to lose his limbs. His skin was so burned up from the meds he ended up in a burn unit. He fought hard and actually got better! He passed away Jan 1, 2024. Something is happening and the pharmaceutical companies are killing people off with the medications. This is maddening!!!
