    I saw them in the late 90s and they opened with this song. It was so beautiful I had tears in my eyes ❤️❤️❤️

    I recall seeing and interview with Waddy Wachtel. Waddy was a tour musician with the Everly Brothers for sometime. Waddy told a story of how he would cry every time they did this song. It affected him so deeply. I feel that way too.

    They were not using guitar amplifyers in the 60s so raising his guitar to the microphone was the only way to increase the sound

    Phil Everly was a decent, loving human being, he took a back seat to his brother Don by always singing harmony. In the end, Don's behavior became so selfish and repulsive to Phil that he disavowed him as a brother. Sad to know, but................. you never really know what is inside another.
