I find it interesting just how many parallels there are between Ichigo and Kenpachi. Both have an incomplete Zanpakuto in either form or understanding, they both fight with their immense spiritual pressure with little nuance to their understanding of its formalities, they both ultimately have a more instinctive fighting style than their peers, and both their Zanpakuto are conduits for their own innate strength as opposed to other Shinigami like Byakuya whose strength primarily comes from their utilization of their Zanpakuto's abilities.

If you mean the Special Threats, it's because Zaraki was only extremely strong, but that's it. Urahara could be a trickster all he wants, he's much too weak to be a threat to his plan on his own. Aizen is borderline immortal due to his reiatsu being on the level of the reiō. Ichigo is a hybrid of all the races, that's why he's #1. The potential to have all the abilities of the Quincies mixed with the powers of Hollows, their polar opposite, and a Shinigami from one of the 4 strongest families.

It was his 1st time using bankai without training with around 10 years of training he will grasp a lot and improve immensely. Most captains have over 100 years with there bankai kempachi just learn his literally

Characters in the Soul Society arc like Uriyu were at least .5x SoL, likely faster, with Ichigo dodging Uriyu's light arrows before even entering the soul society. We also have characters like Urahara dodging Balas in base; with Balas being 20x faster than Ceros which are also confirmed to be light-based (Although likely MUCH MUCH faster)

Gremmy creating multiple clones, if anything, would just increase the speed at which he could imagine things rather than increasing his actual power level.

But after he ressolves this internal conflict is he able to tap into his true power while simultaneously having thrilling battles during tybw

Besides how would it make sense if 2 Gremmy can create a meteor powerful enough to destroy the Seireitei and kill many of the multi-continental and above characters in it but 7 Gremmy can only create a simple portal? I mean, even fodder hollows are capable of transversing dimensions and that isn’t special.

What do you even mean by "a little doodle"? 😂 You mean the literal illustration in the manga, from the author....? If anything, Kenpachi may be beyond even galaxy. "A 'Quincy Brain' with the capability to create outer space and withstand the turbid waters of spiritual pressure" That's the novel statement. So now you have a little doodle plus some very exact, little words from the little book that author(not you) created. He made the space itself, totally seperate from the space he was in. You don't get to dictate what is & isnt valid about the story, you see/read what the author has drawn and written.

It's almost like he has a is recognition that he just knows what to do

Using "False Shikai Ichigo" is a pretty vague power-scale with what we know of "OMZ" or young Ywach. It's very likely that OMZ/YY was letting go of some of his restraint on Ichigo's dormant power to let him best Zaraki, ESPECIALLY since Zaraki would be caught off-guard by this sudden jump in power...I (Quantifying this jump is harder than you make it seem, as White/Zangetsu says Ichigo is being crushed by the spiritual pressure of his own bankai while he's having no such difficulty and is shown to be absolutely bodying Byakuya)

During his first battle against Kenpachi, OMZ used Blut Vene so that Ichigo wouldn't bleed out, but that's it. The "skull" was just White manifesting all of Ichigo's reiatsu at the time at once. At that point, there wasn't much "dormant power" that coukd be accessed anyway, without Bankai or especially without an Asauchi.

So far his strength surpasses his physical form!

Galactic just because Grammy put him into Outer space? It was the environment of outer space that damaged Kenpachi which literally could’ve happened just being in between the Earth and the moon and the open vacuum of space. That is not a galactic feat. Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to downplay Kenpachi at all because he is in fact, one of my top three favorite characters, but to call that a Galactic level feat is ridiculous.

Some of these characters are really downplayed. Hell Kubo went out his way to counter some of them.

Man Kenpachi simply brute forces his way through battles, it's simple as that, and I don't mean that in a bad way, he's one of my favorites characters. It just goes to show how monstrous his strength is, it's like Meruem said in HxH, brute strength is all that matters, no one can oppose you as long as you have brute strength, and it really shows in Kenpachi, he doesn't really think too much during battles, it's just about strength.

You made an observation that made a great deal of sense to me, and I wonder what your source is for your information: You said Kenpachi fought, and was defeated by the REAL Yhwach, BEFORE he visited Aizen, leaving Royd Loyd to finish him off. The way I always read than scene was Kenpachi fought, and lost to, Royd Loyd - thinking he was the real Yhwach - while real Yhwach visited Aizen. This always bugged me because Royd Loyd only copied other people's form and memories, while his brother Loyd Loyd was the one who copied form and powers, as he did when Kenpachi defeated him. But for my reading of that scene to be correct then that would leave a paradox. If Loyd and Royd had the same base strength (being twins) and the one who fought Kenpachi while matching his strength and form was actually innately stronger than Kenpachi and actually traded down when duplicating Kenpachi's strength. Your interpretation of those events eliminates that conundrum. My question is: was this confirmed (in manga, anime or Klub Outside) and I missed it? You asked if there were any fetes you missed and I can think of one detail that nobody seems to look at: Zaraki the immovable object. Giant Gerard swung down on Bankai Kenpachi with an arm as large as a train and Kenpachi stopped him by catching, with his teeth, then rips Gerard's whole arm off at the shoulder with a jerk of his head. While everyone sees the impressive durability of being unscathed by the attack and the casual dominance of his counter-move, they miss the really insane thing about this: Kenpachi wasn't driven into the building he was standing on like an indestructible nail. His body didn't tail here because he was strong, but the building didn't take all the destructive kinetic energy of the blow because in that instant Kenpachi was a fixed point in the universe. That's not strength. That's nightmare-level monstrosity.

Also this is the LLOYD ROYD WAS CAPABLE of Going toe to toe against an angry Yamamoto and was able to do pretty decently... So he's clearly strong and If he can tag with Yamamoto then Defeating this Kenpachi Is not by any a huge deal for him... Lloyd Royd might only be able to copy memories and mind but you can't forget that YHWACH can casually boost a quincy's power if he sees fit so that would explain why Lloyd Royd was strong, hell even Jugram who can bless others with good around was literally right there beside Lloyd so Lloyd's feats are the perfectly within his level, in fact he usually just overlooked and underrated when this is the same guy That Genuinely had Yamamoto convinced he was the real deal until the end Which wouldn't be possible if He didn't have at Least as strong as YHWACH 1000 years ago since Yamamoto fought that YHWACH and knows his how strong he was

CFYOW literally destorys the yama vs kenny argument since the same hollow that a prime yama struggled against, a prime kenny who got a couple months to explore his new shikai+bankai slaps him (Ikomikidomoe). With this fact, we can say that at the same age Kenny>Yama so in time/age kenpachi scales higher than yama aka having a greater potential. @@BandileBlose You're right. At Klub Outside Kubo just confirmed it was Royd who defeated Zaraki and the swap took place before Zaraki arrived on the scene. It seems that the explanation (or at least the English translation) of the Lloyd brothers' powers was inaccurate. Both copied powers and memories but each was better at one than the other. So Royd had all Yhwach's memories and 70-80% of Yhwach's power.

I gotta point out a few things that I dont personally believe that you said or anybody in the fandom has said. 1. Kenpachi being the weakest captain in the soul society arc? I seriously doubt anybody with a brain said that. 2. Kenpachi wasn't as strong as the top esapda? Based on what? Yammy powers scales above the top 3 and Kenpachi who was barely healed was toying with him 😂 3. Kenpachi being weaker than Ukitake and Shinsui I definitely disagree. There's nothing stated or shown that they are on his level. Especially after arrancar saga.

Your a fan he was definitely nowhere near them in ss arc look at the data book Yama aizen shunsui an I think ukitake were above him. I don't even see end of arc zaraki beating shunsui tbh. I also have gin putting down zaraki while he was alive and byakuya beats ss zaraki who only really lost to hollow bankai ichigo

I like that the amount of power the eyepatch holds back stays more consistent than I first imagined. At first, I thought you would mention the Nnoitra fight, because we can do a fair comparison from that fight too: Zaraki with eyepatch is getting used to Nnoitra's skin, once he gets used to it, he starts pummeling him very easily. Then, Nnoitra uses his Ressureccion, which Urahara compared directly to a bankai in the tybw (so roughly a 10 times multiplier) and Zaraki manages to kill him without the eyepatch. I never thought about how consistent it was with the Ichigo fight

I always said this, if unohana was the first kenpachi and acknowledged by Yamamoto, then is shinigami reserved to the title of officers within? I believe Yamamoto bestowed that title to his most powerful subordinates. As we all read yamamoto was the most powerful born in the last X years then it doesn't really matter who is the kenpachi they are just second to him.

By the way I'm a die hard zaraki fan. I just can't put him above Yamamoto. But I also put Yamamoto on par with ichibei. Hence ywabach taking alternate routes to defeating yama, but going head on with ichibei.

The eye patch was added to him upon the bells and not even adding his subconscious suppression of his reitsu

Maybe because of fanservice? He newly attained his Zanpakutous name and this was the last arc so Kubo had to show something, new/more interesting etc. Why did Ichigo use Bankai for a normal Hollow in ep 1? Also there is a statement in the safwy novel that says that Zarakis new eyepatch consumes 10 times the ammount the previous one did

Kenpachi has potential to surpass Yamamoto (If not already). Ichigo has potential to surpass the prime soul king( if not comparable). Hitsugaya toshiro has potential to be a match to Yamamoto.

Nothing would happen, lol. He would never use something like Gremmys' abilities in a fight, and we all know he literally hates Kido. That's why his whole Squad doesn't use any,(openly) and his fifth seat (Yumichika) literally hides his true Zanpakutou abilities because they are Kido based. That's not Zarakis' fighting style. He loves the "raw, battle, brute fore battles, and cutting and also getting cut and being put to his limits."" He 100% would rather die than use imagination or Kido to fight any opponent

The only thing that can beat him is plot armor

During TYBW yama>kenny, however looking at CFYOW we are told that prime yama lost to Ikomikidomoe... the same hollow which kenpachi defeated. In terms of scaling and potential kenpachi>>>>yama since he has accomplished stronger feats at a younger age. Therefor it is basically certain that a Kenpachi who has mastered both shikai+bankai given the same span as yama is definitely stronger.

For those talking ichigo that mf has had the most plot armor of all time. The only reason he can even fight with kenpachi is due to plot armor. They nerf kenpachi so much his potential is still untapped

See I stop listening to people when they start saying people are galactic. Just because someone can summon a mini-galaxy and it gets sliced through, that doesn't equate to a galactic feat. If you can slice through or generate enough force to damage your own galaxy that you actually live in, that's a galactic feat. People don't be using common sense when they powerscale. Give me feats like Jin Mori with actual galaxy and universal feats to-scale of his own actual verse. Not some mini-summoned version of a galaxy.

Got the ask this simple question cuz I'm confused. Does bankai increase the user spirit energy and if it does, do the blade own spirit energy increase over time like the user. And is the 5x or 10x boost by bankai means 5x or 10x user spirit energy or just combat ability.

No the users just need less on Shikai or ubreleased state they could use the same amount of Reiatsu in those forms but there's no need to do so most of the time on Bankai however consumption increases and we see the Reiatsu go nuts more often

Yes the Zanpakutou spirit also becomes stronger 2. 5x to 10x means both Spirit Energy (Reiryoku) and also every other physical abilitys like speed, power etc. Reiryoku increases all of your physical capabilities and Shikai and Bankai are release states of a Zanpakutou which releases the Spiriual Energy that's been sealed in a sealed Zanpakutou state (which is the basic form of a Zanpakutou/Just a Katana/Kodachi or whatever the user wields)

@@DRASERUS Bro? That's what Spiritual Energy does my guy. That's how Bleaches Powersystem works. It's literally proven in most of the fights throughout the whole series lol. Don't you know how Bleaches powersystem works? Reiryoku is literally used for everything, without it you would just be limited to peak Human capabilities at best and the more you have the higher it increases your base stats. But obviously there are certain char with specific stats higher than other. I don't get your Ichigo and Ikkaku analogy?
