Kenny is fresh and uninjured, and he had to resort to using kendo because he couldn't beat Nnoitora normally. And through this whole fight, gingerman is being healed and restored by gingergirl, so his improved performance later makes more sense.

Kenpachi's vocie is like spicy dark chocolate. Loved this VA for him

Kenpachi is the kind of guy to see "team lift" and read as, "lift with both hands."

You'd think Nnoitora would realise that if his opponent can match him one-handed, and switches to two hands because two hands are stronger than one, then it's _probably_ a bad idea to run right up to the guy who suddenly got a whole lot stronger than you by using both hands.

Foreshadowing of Ichigo doing it in the Fullbringer Arc

Kenpachi was darn near Saitama before Saitama was a thing. So ungodly powerful he never had ANY sword powers before the very end of the story, but was easily on par with bankai-wielding captains. Hell, he beats Nnoitra by going "Alright, I'll actually start TRYING now.", and straight up ONE-SHOTS him.

I felt the opposite back when I watched it as it was airing. "Why bring all these weak ass Captains in to fight when they couldn't beat a teenager?" The Captains got a plot boost to their levels and it made zero sense to me then and still doesn't now. They had been around for hundreds of years at that power level. Ichigo humbled them with mostly Shikai lmao. We can chalk it up to bad writing but still, the Captains should've stayed in Soul Society

I can feel Kenpachi And Nnoitora’s urgency of this battle and I’ve been looking forward to catch 1 full hour of Bleach.

The problem is once you're using an arm on each side of the body, you'll have greatly diminishing returns since the power increase from using 2 hands to swing comes from the full bodies aid and not the arm alone.

Out of all the Espada who fought, Nnoitora went the longest without using his released state.

Is there anyone more badass in bleach than Kenpachi? The guy's broken af to the point he subconsciously sealed away most of his power so he'd enjoy fighting more. Then he puts the eyepatch on which seals even more power. I wonder had Yammamoto done what Shunsui did in getting him to unlock his powers how many Espada he would have taken down. Anyone above 4 is a gonner if you ask me. The only one who could trouble him would be Ulquiorra.

No, because that is the same as saying if Ichigo had his true powers, he would have also defeated the Espadas as well. Ichigo had to go full hollow to beat Ulquiorra, do you really think Zaraki fully unlocked is at that level? If yes, then there are still 3 espada above him. If no, then he doesn't defeat Ulquiorra. Let us look at the other evidence: Ichigo at half bankai with no mask was equal to Unohana (reiatsu). She confirmed this herself. Compare that Ichigo to full hollow Ichigo. Unohana is nowhere near the level of top 4 Espada. Zaraki is, but depends if he can control himself in bankai. If the top 4 were alive during TYBW, I am sure they would have trained and received power ups as well. I believe once he masters his shikai and bankai, yes, he becomes stronger than the Espada in 1v1.

High instances in seireitei don't want to teach him kendo (kenpachi never learned proper swordmaster Technics) because they are scared of the power he'd obtain, making him almost unbeatable, and if he went out rogue on them they couldn't control him. Zaraki without his eye patch, at full power, by that I mean actually trying to get things done efficiently, would definitely beat ulquiorra. Ichigo needed Vasto Lorde to beat him, but that's before fullbring and stuff.ichigo was far from bad, but where he'd have died to nnoitra, all it took for zaraki is to handle his sword two-handed. In all honesty it's kinda dumb to try figuring these things where fights are clearly there for the narration. Even more so with characters that are overly op like zaraki, it's badass and cool, but shouldn't be comparable to other characters. Dude was fighting equal of first kenpachi (unohana if I'm not wrong) when he was a kid.

For instance....he lost to base shikai Ichigo but destroyed hollows despite the GIGANTIC difference of power. It's by design, and not to show helps top end isn't insanely high if he fought a stronger opponent. He'll just keep raising to match them.

I always love when shows do essentially even matchups like this where it's one brute against another just to see who's the stronger tank, especially when both opponents have similar philosophies and such. Probably one of the best Kenpachi fights.

The problem: Nnoitora has real tough skin. Kenpachi's solution: "So.. what if I used TWO hands?" THIS GUY.

Removing his eye patch only told kenpachi that he got lucky. Would have been better to leave him guessing what happened. 🤦‍♂️

The fight with Ichigo was incredible but vs Nnoitra it was Kennys best fight, broski showed he was truly bloodlust and could take the hardship of a ferocious battle, his evolution past this point would be no surprise since he has friends that can tease "The good side". Kenny now has bankai and the man is stronger then ever before. I love Kenny and hes by far my favorite captain. Also 9:36 Santa Teressa is lit.

Man, I miss David Lodge's characterization of Kenpachi, such a charismatic badass. Why didn't they bring him back for TYBW? Seitz is good enough, but he plays other major characters making his voice too easily recognizable... Whereas Lodge IS Kenpachi Zaraki.
