I 'm far from a Kenny Rogers fan, but goddamn if this song doesn't hit all the right spots.

Kenny was GREAT. I'm not the biggest fan of his story songs, but he could sing a love song. "Through The Years" is one of the greatest performances by anyone ever.

The Gambler is another awesome song from Kenny Rodgers
Every man has his limit. Confucius say don't piss off the nice guy. Lol
There is an old saying, “Beware the fury of the patient man.”
Why are all these Kenny Rogers reaction videos in my feed I am laughing right now at this! He was huge when I was a kid , it’s funny to hear people newly discovering this guy....he is one of the best singers of all time so glad you gave him a listen! 👍🏻
Yay! you listened to it! Thanks from those of us who requested it. The Gambler is Kenny Rogers. And you're right is always important to let go of bottled up emotions in a positive way. ✌🏾️🇳🇿
He wasn't letting loose on the Gatlin Brothers...He was making his stand. Much different. Hope you react to The Gambler it's another song about lessons in life. It's actually my favorite song by Kenny. Please use the music video.
I love this song. It's an emotional roller coaster and acknowledges the fact there are some things one cannot just let go by. Also, I think Kenny Rogers deserves a lot of credit for being smooth enough in his delivery that he put literal gang rape into the song and it just slides by.
This song always reminds me of my pops, he would play all these songs that had a message for me when I was a little kid. That was a good tangent you were on, speaking the truth. Peace to you and yours.
I love Kenny Rogers !! He and Lionel Richie sing together!! Amazing!!
Love that song! Brings back some good memories of my family.
we all must walk the tightrope...always in balance...only lessons to learn in life...they never end...Ty man for this
You did real good on your reaction . Speak what u feel
Dude, you gotta react to Kenny's best song, "Lady" written by his long time best friend, Lionel Ritchie.
Hey man great stuff!! so much truth about the need to exercise aggressions out, the screaming and other things. You got another subscriber here 👍 keep on keeping on -
Kenny Rogers was the best vocal story teller. Over 63 yr career. Watch his amazing biography. He was raised in poverty. Became a huge mega star with The Gambler Album & song. A huge cross over artist Country, Pop, R & B, psychodelic, gospel music. He was loved by everyone Globally. He was a really good man. He helped organize Feed Africa We Are The World song & huge talent session event fundraiser with major talents of the 80's. His songs had weekly TV movies. He was in a variety of bands. He even had his own tv show.
I just can't help myself, the whole attire with the Kenny Rogers song, im dead!😂😎😂😎I still go back & watch that damn Islands in the Stream!!! 😂😂😂 Much luv from Iowa, man!

😀😊✌️ I appreciate the sub. Stay safe.
I remember this song as a 11 year old, I hated country, at that time I was all about disco, before discovering hard rock and then Rap. However this song, and a few other "story" songs caught my attention. This as well as "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitgerald", is great, "The Night Chicago Died", by Paper Lace... I was 10 and it was cool to me then... "Piano Man", by Billy Joel still speaks to me if I listen to it now.
Hey man. I'm not a Kenny Rogers fan, but I do like some of his music and this is a great song. Check out a couple others by him: The Gambler Love Will Turn You Around

What a great story. Great reaction vid.
Holy shit, I did not expect this to be such a deep track. Great pull, great analysis. Keep it up.
Screaming along with Rob Halford is my greatest stress relief ever! Let all of it out. Dreamer Deceiver and Victim of Changes are my favorites.

I've known this song darn near my whole life, but haven't heard it in YEARS (except for another reactor). It's so different listening as an adult than a kid. I almost cried.
It's harder to walk away and turn the other cheek. These circumstances warranted an was kicking beat down.
Loved this and your comments💞💞💞

Loved that!
Not much of a country fan but you’ve got to give it to old Kenny...he writes a catchy tune. The Gambler is worth checking out.
“The Gambler” is my favourite Kenny Rogers song. There’s also a cool version of “Lady” that he sang with Lionel Richie. Or you could do a Lucille-off - both Kenny Rogers and Little Richard did songs called “Lucille.” Both are quite different.

Still one of my favorite of his songs Great story telling
Great reaction and GOOD advice!
Due to a long story, I had this on a 4cd set of random songs that I listened over and over and over
think past the moment...perfect
Great song
Wow...never heard this song before. Very good reaction!
Fear the wrath of a patient man
respect for the honesty. More need to recognize that walking away from "Stupid" doesn't mean weakness. RIP Kenny.
Great shirt, sir.
I cry every time
check out the gambler by Kenny rogers
Great interpretation
Great video, i grew up with this & other Kenny Rogers stuff May i suggest that you listen to the entire Gambler Album.? This song is on it, but there's one specific song that i listened to when i was just a kid & it's actually the first song that brought tears to my eyes The title of the song is (King Of Oak Street) It's a slower sad jam, but the lyrics & story is meaningful & ends in a bitter sweet way.. Try it out, i believe you won't be disappointed Thank you for taking me back in time of goid memories, much respects to ya.. Jason
Love this tune, great reaction too! Nothing like an old country and western song about good old C&W topics: rape, repression and revenge!
Bro you are Hilarious. Now im hungry for some chicken
Just wanted to say that you were right. Lol. The late Kenny Rogers did own several chicken restaurants. Who knew😁
Another good one from Kenny Rogers is Ruby (Don't Take Your Love to Town).
Good reaction. This song is a bit of an outlier on my playlist, but I've always held it in high regard.
Have the film on DVD, but haven't seen it yet.
Kenny Rogers was always good at the story songs. Give a listen to Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town. It's a song he recorded when he was with the First Edition along with Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In), 1969 and 1968 respectively.
Choose ya fights! 😎
Great reaction. Crying doesn't usually make me feel better so I just don't do it ever anymore but I totally agree that letting out a good scream/yell really helps sometimes.

RIP Kenny Rogers. 💔
You might ought to check out him and Sheena Easton doing a duet cover of Bob Seger's "We've Got Tonight". Maybe listen to the original, then to the duet cover in the same video. For a Keeny Rogers original song, check out "I Don't Call Him Daddy".
Kenny Rogers started out playing psychedelic rock before moving to country. Try Kenny Rogers and the First Edition - I just dropped in (to see what condition my condition was in) : If you've seen The Big Lebowski you'll know this song. If not, you should see it!
I have thought for a long time if some other genre took this song they could bring it to a new generation.
Rueben James is an excellent (deep) song by Kenny Rogers. And if you want to reach back further when he sang in a rock group called 'The First Edition", the song 'Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Is In)' is a pretty good drug trippin' song. lol

Most everything else is standard country fare....
You need to listen to Lady by Kenny Rogers. Wow...
Also I believe you should listen to every song like 4 times at least, especially if it touchs you in anyway. Like the gym, you gotta keep it up, you will open up to the feeling more, if you kinda like it... It will amplifie, nobody is judging you man, listen for you. Thank you. I hate country but there are some songs I will defend. It is the 12 year old me asking you to understand. I know you know what I mean.
Go for Lucille!!! Kenny has great story songs or Ruby don’t take your love to town , The Gambler
You will hear this song agian. Different lyrics, same message.
👍👍👍👍👍

Ha, my neighbors would call the cops.
You should listen to Kenny Rogers what condition my condition was in
Do "Lady" by Kenny Rogers. It was written by Lionel Richie and isn't Country.
Please react to the song Drunk Girl by Chris Janson. Thank you.
You have to pick your battles
Their chicken pitas were the bomb.
If you like songs with a good message you have to listen to Montgomery Gentry's Something to be proud of
Do ( Lady ) its love ❤ you can't listen yo kenny ever again ? Its your loss !
Try reacting to Willie Nelson's RED HEADED STRANGER.
I comment on the reaction because I always thought that's what the comments were for...commenting on what they said. If we want to react to the video we can set up our own site. That being said I think him calling viewers cowards and commenting on Kenny's physical appearance was completely inappropriate
Kenny Rogers is on The Big Lebowski soundtrack as a member of First Edition, with a sound that’s a million miles away from country. There’s a video of the band here kzread.info/dash/bejne/c4mAsaVmXdS7f6w.html
It's much harder to turn away from a fight. Good reaction. I hope this isn't a racist remark but Native Americans really react differently with alchohol. I had a friend, Native American a gentle giant when sober. He killed an off duty cop in a bar fight.

@@themightyfp Ididn;t want to any group out so I sincerely apologize. The Native Americans' I have met have been very honorable people, and I love them. I guess I was trying to give the young men who jumped in my car when I was sixteen held a knife to my throat, drove me out to Squaw Peak Park and gang raped me a pass. Maybe a defense mechanism that they were really good people who reacted badly to hard liquor. This is getting way to personal sorry and keep up the good work.
