I saw an interview and I didn’t realize how close they really were! Lionel lived in Kennys guest house! When Kenny’s wife was in labor he asked Lionel to go for a car ride and Lionel said he told Kenny “shouldn’t you be with your wife why are you riding around with me (discussing the soon to be birth of his child) and Kenny said “because you’re my best friend”. Lionel teared up when telling that story ❤️

I think the thing I love the most about this performance is how obvious it was that they were enjoying themselves and that they still seemed like such good friends

Kenny and Lionel did an hour or so show on Crossroads Live. I know you can't react to that, but it's awesome! It's them singing each other's songs together and reminiscing about old stories of their 30+ year friendship.

Lionel really is the King of writing Love songs. And Kenny had such immense skill in singing with so much emotion into his music.

I was mid teens when I got my first Lionel Ritchie album.. Quickly realized it was a lock your bedroom door album. LOVE Lionel and Kenny.

Both men are legendary. This is priceless.

2 amazing legends. Lionel did a phenomenal duet of Endless Love with Shania Twain he helped her get her confidence back when recovering her voice after losing it from Lyme's disease. There's a video on her page as part of a series of her journey to get her voice back and part of it is when she is at Lionel's house to record he's so sweet and encouraging it's wonderful. Then there's a video of the duet which is amazing
