I’m a big Spence fan. He does have a tendency to go low. In his defense he had to go extra low because of how low porter was getting. But the body work from Errol was the difference in this fight plus the big knockdown that sealed the win.

The only thing about the low shots is that Shawn never reacted to more than one of them, which tells me that according to the shorts they may have been low, but without the reaction, it couldn’t have hit his lower regions. Any man would react to getting hit that hard if it was truly low. Aside from that I don’t think it was intentional, ref and Shawn didn’t react accordingly so there was not a indication to Errol to stop the work other than the times the ref actually said something which was far less than shots landed. They should rematch to put closure on this. Spence won tho IMO

Both Shawn eyes were swollen and just Errol left eye was swole... It was a battle between two warriors & Spence beat Shawn at his own fight... Shawn loss and Spence out worked him... Simple!

@@blackjesus4973 Idk if Spence outworked Porter. However, he deff landed the more effective shots and more punches in general. Meanwhile, Porters ring generalship (angles, feints, distance controls, etc.) were on point. He just couldn't capitalize on it due to Spences ability to catch him coming in and/or return fire when caught going backwards. I would love to see a rematch to see their gameplans and adjustments.

Spence had the never to talk about Porter was a dirty fighter all the dirty shots came from him with his two left feet.

Shawn's Cardio was impressive. His short was too high, low blows were inevitable

I scored it 9-3, 8-4 Spence. Much respect to Porter, he fought a fight I didnt think he could. Errol's game plan was very risky. I think he should have hunted for his head instead of the body & the knockdown would have came quicker

Shawn took low blow by his fault...he was going so low and bending that when someone who is taller than you punches you...it will definitely go below the belt if you bend over etc...Shawn is smaller so the low blow was due to that in my opinion

It’s always some damn excuses, Spence wasn’t complaining about the headbutts in the fight and Shawn only complained about 1 low blow and the ref told Shawn to stop pulling on errols head that’s why the shots were straying low.. the only people who aren’t making excuses are the 2 fighters that were in that ring that night smfh
