@MickyTheBoss Vince is back as the CEO but he has nothing to do with creative, and I would assume many people thought the same thing about Cody and got to keep his theme, his character and he was sling shot into the main event of wrestle mania, those are just assumptions that wwe could do, but that shouldn't be a factor in if he gets signed or not

they dont give AF abt Kenny except to taunt AEW/Tony Khan.....in another situation they would laugh but tbh...Kenny sucks so bad on the mic, he would most def benefit from having big time writers and acting coaches for his promos

If Vince were still running things/doing the booking I’d agree with you. Triple H however seems a lot less closed off to the rest of the pro wrestling world and has historically let Shinsuke Nakamura and Karl Anderson wrestle over in NJPW while still under contract with the WWE. If that’s all it took to steal The Cleaner from AEW and Trips has anything to say about it you best believe he’s have little problem negotiating that. Small price to pay for Kenny Omega and to *steal* Kenny from AEW.

Kenny Omega wishes he could sign with the WWE. He’s got the look of a Brian Pillman and the wrestling ability of a lucha yet can’t cut a promo if you gave him a teleprompter. No wonder CM Punk owns his ass.

This is on the presumption WWE won’t allow Kenny to work New Japan. This past year Karl Anderson and Shinsuke Nakamura were allowed to work outside the company. I think the allure of stealing another founding father of AEW in combination of WWE’s willingness to allow people to work elsewhere can make a Kenny Omega signing possible. Never say never.

How can someone who kickstarted a company, (founding member) ask to join the company, when they had the idea to start the company??

With diverticulitis it’s better to wrestle in wwe for less bumps for him unless he heals up miraculously then he should 💯 stay as he is the main character for AEW in my eyes

When you're the number one in a company you've been in for years, it'd be tough to change.

Shinsuke got to work with Muta in Japan... I think it's less about Japan and more about the creative control. WWE would NEVER let him do his wackier stuff. He'd complain about creative after about a month.

I mean what else is there for him to do he already done lot of stuff In new Japan wwe is the only thing he never accomplished at this point of his career

I think it’s a matter of whether or not Vince will still be there in a year if he sells the company (And who they sell it to). I can’t see Vince making an exception to that outside promotion rule, but I imagine Triple H would be a lot more lenient. Who knows where he’ll go at the end of the day. It’s gonna be a long time before we find out.

He’s also said that he doesn’t like the environment and culture within the WWE. It’s the reason he didn’t sign with them before he went to Japan, and has denied them the 3 occasions after

"He joined aew with it in his contract that he can work new japan whenever he wants" the entire reason the term Forbidden Door exists is because Kenny and The Bucks forming AEW was seen by NJPW management as a slight against them and they refused to work with AEW for like two years

Ok if he still wants to wrestle in Japan, Carl Anderson literally did the same thing when he was the Never Open Weight Champ, can’t say that when a someone does it anyways.

It's HHH know, not Vince they want Omega and the Young buck's, just so they have all AEW's EVPs within 6 years of them opening.

It’s a risk when you wrestle a new Japan pro wrestling certain moves. They allow that WWE doesn’t allow.

Kenny is a big fish in AEW and WWE is after the big fish in that company. I think that WWE would let Kenny wrestle in NJPW if he signed. To be honest, there’s no intriguing storylines for Omega in AEW anymore. There’s more for him in WWE.
