dooney was doing too much and regulating a project he didnt grow up in. he got accepted there but literally was tryna control it all and tell residents who grew up there and were born there that they couldnt hustle unless they worked for him. so yeah, someone from magnolia did it and deep down people knew dooney was tripping....and people picked sides. some were loyal to dooney but a lot of them guys from the magnloia wanted to k!ll Doonie because they thought he was making them look soft by being an outsider but having so much power

their run was only 8 months long. from mid 1999 to soon as 2000 started. plus they were selling drugs to people who sold drugs because they took over parts of the projects. if you force people to buy drugs from you and you intimidate them with a team of young k!llers, of course you'll make $24k per year. projects were the places people went to buy drugs, whether you lived in the area or in the suburbs. people weren't hustling off cell phones. they were standing outside selling on the corner. and they sold to drug dealers and users. plus in new orleans, heroin was a casual drug that was looked at like weed. a lot of heroin addicts were making money from selling crack/heroin. it wasn't looked at as a drug for just fiends. and of course they didnt have a lot of competition because they were selling drugs to their competition.
