I have subcutaneous neurofibromas all over my body. I'm 27 now. I wish there will be a cure available soon.

I sent this to someone else in the comment section but I wanna send it to you too! I have loads of freckling around my groin and armpits, lots of Cafe-au-lait marks aswell as my eczema rashes on top of that. And you know what? It was a choice I had to make to love my body. I had to fight to gain confidence and not be afraid to be vulnerable and show my body. And not one person I've slept with said anything negative about my skin. I've been called beautiful. Even the last dude kissed my tumour on my shoulder (I know I'm going into specific detail but I hope it helps if I'm just brutally honest) We're our own worst critic. I get it - It can be a daily struggle sometimes to think of your body positively and see yourself in the mirror and be like "I love my reflection" Also true beauty really does come from loving people (including yourself) and being kind to others. Also good people genuinely don't seek after airbrushed models - they care about the person on the inside

Hi! I have a suggestion to liquefy neurofibromatosis lumps. Keep eating papaya fruit everyday, don't stop . Papaya liquefies cancer cells or tumors that is why it is used as meat tenderizer. Cancer cells /tumors don't have mechanism for repair or heal, it is just uncontrolled growth. Papaya don't affect healthy cells. My teacher had 3 breast lumps and they disappeared because she ate papaya for 3 months, she told us in class. If you don't believe me, google papaya cure cancer. I know its not cancer but it is tumor so is uncontrolled growth. They just might liquefy the lumps so they'll disappear. I hope you try, you have nothing to lose , just all the lumps. My goal is to spread this advice to as many people with neurofibromatosis as i can because it saddens me to look at them.

I am almost 40. I didn’t have a boyfriend until I was 20. I married him, and we have on son (who i Sadly passed it onto). At 13 I was diagnosed with 2 brain tumours and Hydrocephalys. I was given a shunt to drain the fluid on my brain. I have now had 20 brain ops due to the shunt blocking I have small fibromas on some of my body

Thanks for sharing your story. I have NF as-well. I too hate the stares, I had a tumor growing on my forehead so I cut it off with a x acto blade. (I obviously don't recommend doing but I'm still satisfied with the results.) I'm thankful I can wear long sleeves and pants and still kinda look "normal" just so long I keep my mouth shut. It's not a good way to meet women, that's the part that's bothering me most right now. (I'm 32 and never had a girlfriend.)

Try a dating app? I'm 32 NF and gay, I have boyfriend, it's confidence mate, your tumors only matter if the person is a superficial prick, and you would not want to date them even if you didn't have tumors. (Also, if cut of a tumor with a razor as a kid too, we make weird decisions as kid)
