The vids you chose for each song are near perfect. The majority of the “(artist) on shuffle” videos overuse clips like SpongeBob levitating or the hood dancing with the guy holding the speaker, or they only use them to convey general emotions like happy or sad. But these clips match each song so amazingly, although that’s partially due to Kendrick’s versatility as an artist. And the sync on the clips just makes things that much better

I love that kendrick speaks on his experience with trans people. Someone with that big of an audience leading an example of guidance and understanding is so refreshing. Some people obviously arent receptive to it, because they will always hate something they dont want to understand, but kendrick did want to understand, and it brought his family closer in love. Such a beautiful track.

i showed my mom kendrick lamar, i’ve made her listen to each of his albums front to back (except section .80 abt to show her that one) and she loves them. she says that he’s one of the most versatile artists she’s ever heard and every time she hears a new voice of hers she’ll be like “whos this person” or “is that kendrick singing?” and like she says that she hasn’t heard two songs in his whole catalog that sound the same and with like all of the emotion in his music, she really likes kendrick. and i think that’s a testament to his artistry as a whole and his legacy as the greatest to ever touch a mic.

I was just trying to introduce someone who didnt listen to any hip-hop to Kendrick, and I had to try really hard to find 4-5 songs that showed all of his different vibes and capabilities.
