"Kenavo" - French Breton traditionnal song

"Kenavo" ("Goodbye" in breton language) is a famous song written and composed by the french breton singer-songwriter, poet and playwright, Théodore Brotel (1868-1925). He is best known for his popular songs about his native Brittany such as "La Paimpolaise". He will gain popularity during the Great War where he will write many patriotic and military song like "Ma p'tite Mimi" or "Rosalie". This will make him earn the nickname "Bard of the Armies".

Il est surtout connu pour ses chansons populaires sur sa Bretagne natale comme "La Paimpolaise". Il gagnera en popularité pendant la Grande Guerre où il écrira de nombreuses chansons patriotiques et militaires comme "Ma p’tite Mimi" ou "Rosalie". Ce qui lui fera gagner le surnom de "Barde des Armées".

J'aimerais complimenter l'évolution de tes vidéos, celle si en particulier est géniale, les illustrations sont riches et variées et puis des details genre le mot kenavo d'abord traduit, puis laissé seul puis apparaît en gros avec une police celtique, c'est des petits details mais ca rend le visionnage extrêmement agréable ❤

Elle est sublime 😍 trop peut connu la carrière de toscani, grand chanteurs d'avant guerre qui a probablement enregistré les meilleurs versions de "la royale" (l'hymne de l'AF), les allobroges et de "la carmagnole"

Breton is not the only language of Bretagne, Gallo is for exemple much closer to French... And Bretagne is a French region you like it or not.

@@thrawnovitch didn't say it was gallo --' I just don't understand, I mean, ok bretons used to be mostly celtic influenced, but why do you feel the need to complain every time a breton song (created by a breton) is created in French ? I know how French language was forced in Bretagne. I understand why you complain when people turns breton lyrics songs into french ones, but for this song it does not make sense since it is a french breton song.
