I feel like I have grown up with Kenan. Goodburger was on repeat and I always tuned into Snick on Saturday nights for All That. Good days.

Kenans bit on All That! with Chris Farley was one of my favorites as a kid. I am suprised it wasnt mentioned

What a GREAT guy. I've loved Kenan's work since he was a kid and my kids were watching him on Nickelodean. He's so grounded and down to earth- and like a lot of people on this show (including the hosts) he has NO idea how amazing he is. Comedians build a legacy on their pain and insecurities and take us all along with them making us laugh all the way.

I remember telling my friends and family to keep an eye on him when he was on All That, because I knew he had what it takes to be on SNL back then. I am so proud of him ❤

He’s as smart and nice as I hoped he would be. An all star 💫

Kenan Thompson is such an interesting person that has a natural appeal. He is also the funniest person on the show.

That's crazy that he's been on for 20 years. Doesn't seem that long, and he still looks like a kid.

I mean, to me, Kenan seems to be the likely successor of Lorne Michaels. You know, in the future and all.

I think you two have pioneered a new type of intro. First the late night guys always did monologues, then some started tossing to the band a bit to make it more of a dialogue. You two start off with Dueling Monologues, weave them through half of a bit and into a full blown dialogue of dueling self-deprecation. I'm not saying that I wish ya'lls neuroses on you until the end of time, but I do hope you never change.

I'm in my 50s so Carvey's era tends to be my favorite but I definitely laughed at a lot of stuff this season. Not bad at all for a 'rebuilding' season.

Love Keenan on The Californians ~ just nutty as heck ~ Wiig is so crazy on that ~ Hader & Armisen leave me screaming ~ Brilliance of the Californians is Epic Slice of The Valley Girl & All that superficial wine culture ~ As a native Southern Californian can totatallllllllly relate to the Californians ~ Maybe the last crazy nicer but so trite stereotype of Southern California ~ Can't do anything on Southern California now ~ War Zone ~ 🤯

Yep, that was Billy Crystal and SNL probably yanked it because it’s now considered racist. I got another one for you:for a different reason Who remembers uncle Buck and the glass bottom boat? Try and find that one. I’m thinking it was around 1976 or 77…

If I didn't know that was Kenan, I wouldn't have recognized his normal speaking voice. I've never heard him out of character. He's so talented.

Kenan is like my age, I've watched dude since Mighty Ducks 2. He is great on SNL.

I think hes bn modest, Nickelodeon was HUGE in the 90s! Only reason it might be bigger now is bcuz of SpongeBob. But yes All That was our SNL as kids, even tho Id watch both. Bcuz at a young age w SNL, some things went over my head...I Saw Goodburger in theatres, with the whole Snick thing on Nick, we all watched it. & Mighty Ducks, Kenan stood out thn too..hes bn on our tv for going on 30 yrs, was.happy to see him get SnL bk in the day. Im glad hes still on. Cant wait for GoodBurger 2 lol..happy for him.

Keenan is the man, he really is one of the best who’s ever done it. Now if we can only get Dana to stop thinking it’s the Dana Carvey show about Dana Carvey we could all be happier. Thank god for Spade constantly reeling him back in so we can hear some of the guest talking.

Up until this point, I have enjoyed Fly on the Wall, but I'm disappointed in this episode. Kenan is a legend in sketch comedy, the man is doing what he was born to do, and they barely scratch the surface of what makes him tick. He's been on the show longer than anyone else in history, but they give him less than an hour of interview time. I want a redo please!

I’ve always assumed Seth would take over the show one day, but after hearing that interview, Kenan sounds more than capable

Great shows do one on each other

He was always just mugging and just being himself... and pleasant and familiiar... but... one year he just got this look on his face... calm and hilarious. Slow Burn. I think it was when white guys were doing black face and excusing it with "it was the 80s, right?" And KT just slow burned... and from then on I awaited his comedy with anticipation.

After looking into the Scared Straight sketches, I think I counted 8 of them. This made me wonder, what sketch has been reimagined/redonne the most times?? I have been unsuccessful in figuring it out. Is it the Californians? Any of you all know???

Does Waynes World count? They did that more than 8x...maybe the Al Franken bit, where hes special? I dont remember what it was called but I remember theyd do that sketch almost every episode for a few year..The Californians was classic!

I think Bill Hader would do a good job taking over SNL.

I would love if David Spade was flying solo on this podcast. Dana seemingly lacks the ability to not interrupt/talk over both Spade, and the guests. He must have read complaints about this by now, yet he just keeps on doing it.
