Fujita beat Shamrock when he was “The World’s Most Dangerous Man,” Fujita beat Mark Kerr when Kerr was the #1 heavyweight. Came closer to defeating Fedor in Pride than anyone else. Fujita was a bad ass.

Ken had passed his prime at this time man, what they hell were you talking about ? Mark Kerr lost too much weight before he faced Fujita and was exhausted. Fedor beat Fujita in he 1st round.

Dude Ken was never the world's most dangerous man. Not even close. He talks alot about how he was the best in the world back then, but the sad fact of the matter is, he was the exact same level as all the rest of the shootboxers of that era. He was just taller and more roided out than the skinny Japanese guys. He had many decision wins against shoot boxers who were demolished by proper fighters in less than a round.

@@monarch1651 This is totally not true. Ken Shamrock was the best fighter in the world before his return to Pro Wrestling. He could still have been on top for a few more years. He was well rounded, tough, strong, fast, agile. Post his WWF run Ken Shamrock was old and broken from injuries

From what I heard Ken had an infection and was having legit heart problems then thought he was having a heart attack. After the fight Don Fry who had EMT training was there and checked on him. He said Ken's heart beat was over 200bpm.

Ken dominated in this fight with his Sprawl & Brawling, but with Ken holding on to the Guillotine too long forcing his energy to try & end it is what cost him, after that his arms filled up with blood & he was exhausted. Fujita was dazed but he would of took advantage of Kens exhaustion & wouldof ground & pounded him. Ken was smart to throw in the towel , plus his shape wasnt too good during this time due to the lay off after the Osuka fight. It was also said Ken has an infection & his heart was racing so he felt like he was gonna have a heart attack. If you go back to the post fight interview he was coughing & he seemed down

Seriously: Fujita took a beating so severe that the man doing it had a goddamn heart attack. I guess it was a strategy devised by his stand-up coach, Anna Nicole Smith's vagina. And while doctors were treating Ken Shamrock, the only thing that was hurt on Fujita was the team of archaeologists that happened to be exploring his skull's upper mantle at the time
