Totally . The son has the fathers last name and that’s good enough. Let him walk in his own shoes down his own path. He represents you regardless of what he does wether you like it or not

No sir. The majority of athletes who play in American professional sports came from poor or middle class. Very few are from privileged backgrounds. The grind isn’t the same. It takes a little bit more determination for a person who coming up in a privilege position to reach or surpass the one who created the wealth. In my humble opinion

NOT KNOCKING NY YANKEE RELIEF PITCHER Mariano Rivera but let's be honest Ken Griffey jr...IS WHAT BARRY BONDS COULD NEVER BE...A NATURAL HOF SELECTION. BARRY COULD OF GOT HAD HE NOT GOT SUCKED IN TOO THE STEROIDS AND ALSO MADE HIM MORE OF A JERK THAN HE ALREADY WAS AND HIS EGO BLEW UP LIKE HIS HEAD...73* IT IS A LIE/ ALL HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE A LIE NOT THE FIRST YEARS IN PITTSBURGH BUT SF ALL A LIE

I think he was paraphrasing though. And I get his point. You're not trying to build a world championship team. So what if his kid is the son of Ken Griffey, Jr., and so what if the other kid sucks. At that age, they're out there for a more important reason.

Today is when I realized the greatness of Ken Griffey Jr started from a place of love and support. He wasn't just gifted. He was raised by proper parents. Remember, kids don't raise adults. Only adults can raise adults.

Absolutely love the perspective they have on their kids playing sports. The expectations placed on their children is so ridiculous and if you were an actual coach and not a hater you would try to help the kids not ridicule them.
