It was cool to hear Stuart Scott again. This is so nostalgic with all the old school ESPN Sportscenter announcers back when everyone watched. I miss that.

Me too!!! I was a Cubs fan and would watch the Mariners play just to see what Junior and A-Rod were gonna do. And Randy Johnson was scary!!!

I love how you can see the upper deck of the King Dome go from shut down, to sparsely filled, to max. Favorite memories as a kid, all in these clips.

I knew it was gross. But I miss the Kingdome. Those 90s teams owned that place and the ball carried like crazy in there. No one owned that place like Jr. Just lightning fast batspeed, perfectly uppercutted, such a beautiful swing.

I actually recorded this version on VHS (where the SportsCenter anchor referred to me - I think it was the 2am show!) , but we accidentally taped over it the very next day. And now I find it here, all these years later, and incredibly it''s the specific one I thought I'd never see again. Thank you @Detlef! I don't know how (or why) you were able to put together this incredible compilation, but man, I'm really appreciative that you did.

No one can understand this Baseball Home Run Hitter legend in Seattle Mariner History. Only history in time will tell. A total of more than 500 Home Runs. WOW!!!!!!!!!!! at least 800 Home Runs. People cannot be jealous of him!!!!!!!! He controls himself. Legend for his team!!!!!!!!!! Can no one top his home run hitter history of Home Runs! He will be MISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOME RUN PLAYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can Anyone? How about other countries like India or Canada or Europe or Africa opening? Many pitchers try to strike him out!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. Hey this is Bob in Connecticut and Junior is the best I ever saw and I am the biggest Yankee fan I have been a ticket holder for 30 years partial. And he did it without getting juiced. It’s hard to believe his big rookie card 1989 upper deck PSA 10 is only worth $2000. That is a disgrace it should be worth a small fortune😊😊😊

His bent back/left arm and straight front/right arm, (arm bar for those modern swing gurus who think it's a bad thing), is how body mass/power is transferred to the barrel. It's also how he makes it look almost effortless.

really any post 1999 highlights would be cool. He was out of the lineup a lot from 2001 on, but i still want to see anything cool he's done. Some things are trickling through, but most of the videos on yt of griffey are 1989-2000 and 2008-2010

@detlef Huge favor if you can. I caught his 354th home run and the ball was stolen, on ESPN and the news you could see me catch it. In your video it shows 353&355 It was the first home run of 2 in the game against the rays and you show the second. Any chance you have the footage of the first one
