Ken Fish - Deliverance & Physical Healing Day 2 - February 4, 2019

Ken Fish, founder of Kingdom Fire Ministries, visited King of Kings for two nights of teaching and prayer ministry in February of 2019. We’ve received many testimonies of how God used Ken’s visit to bring deliverance and healing to those in attendance.
Ken had a close working relationship with his mentor, John Wimber, founder of Vineyard International Ministries. John had a major impact on the global Body of Christ prior to his passing in 1997, not least of which through his best-selling book, “Power Evangelism”, which has sold over one million copies.
The underlying principle of power evangelism is that God uses believers to demonstrate His power - both to help people in need and to grow the Body of Christ. When we pray, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”, God follows through with results of changed lives and an expansion of His Kingdom’s rule in the earth.
Ken has been living these principles for decades. He operates in signs, wonders and miracles, including deliverance, prophetic ministry and healings of many types. As an honors graduate of Princeton University with a degree in history and the philosophy of religion, Ken has a unique understanding of the moves of God and of spiritual warfare. He continues to travel the world, equipping the saints to further the advance of the Kingdom of God and releasing fresh anointing so the church will “experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to [us] through faith.” (Ephesians 1:19 Passion)

Thank you for this teaching. It has been illuminating especially on how to address sin, transgressions and iniquities. I found you courtesy of your interview on Eric Metaxas show. God bless you. I hope you visit Kenya someday.

Around 21 min. Ken says Darius is after Cyrus etc. (that Cyrus earlier destroyed the Babylonians. Then why is Belshazzar still reigning?) Dan 5:30 say that very night (the Babylonian king) Belshazzar was slain. Sounds like it was the other Darius that came first? And this would put it at a different date. I’m not smart enough to know why this would matter but I just want all the details in place in case I ever can!

Cyrus II (r. 550-529 BC) preceded Darius I (r. 522-486 BC) as king of Persia. There was a lesser-known king between them as well, named Cambyses, who reigned only seven years (r. 529-522 BC), and whose name is sometimes omitted from the imperial records, as though someone wanted to write him out of the history books. Cyrus attacked Babylon and defeated it on Oct 13, 539 BC, defeating it in a night, and killing Belshazzar, the son of Nebuchadnezzar (Dan. 5:30). Although Daniel had been made the third ruler of the Babylonian kingdom for interpreting the writing on the wall (Dan. 5:24-28), it was a very short tenure in office because the night of that decree was the night that Babylon was overthrown! Shortly after this victory, Cyrus authorized the Jews to return to their land to rebuild the Temple in 538 BC (2 Chr. 36:22-23; Ezra 1:1-4). It was during the second year of the reign of Darius I (in 520 BC) that the prophet Haggai was stirred by the Lord to rebuke the returned exiles for failing to complete their task (Hag. 1:1-6). The verse that is commonly labeled as Dan. 5:31 in our English Bibles is actually labeled as Dan. 6:1 in the Aramaic original. By understanding where this chapter break falls, the language and flow make more sense, as chapter six of Daniel addresses the actions of Darius, seven years after the end of Cyrus’ reign. It is important to remember that the text of the Bible is inspired, but the chapter headings and verses aren’t. So, this minor adjustment to where we begin reading chapter six shouldn’t disturb anyone. I hope this helps,
