I am the proud owner of a BSR5J that I ordered in late 2000, and excitedly picked up in February 2001. I still have the original hard shell case, but the strap was stolen a long time ago. This bass is one my most prized possessions, and it has seen many, many gigs, and brought endless hours of joy. I wish the 'J' series would be re-introduced with options akin to the Elite series, or Black/White Tiger series. That would be insane. Cheers from Vancouver, BC.

Ken I have an old p bass that was converted to a full Smith. It’s great but they painted over original finish and I was wondering what I could use to remove the paint since it is over Polyurethane? Appreciate your help! B
