It’s a goofy movie but shows so much realistic relatable problems.

This is AMAZING, I don't blame Ken for wanting Barbie to be his girlfriend she's absolutely stunning but at the same time Barbie is so strong for being true to herself and telling him no!

Barbie is the straight up villain that goes with a half arsed redemption arc. She isn't being true to herself, she's just a straight up narcissist.

The parallels from 1:49 to 2:00, it hurts. 😭 So much of the hurt they caused one another could have been solved if they could have just sat together and talked, but I suppose the way that their minds/their world worked as dolls in the roles they had limited their capabilities in having something so human as a genuine heart to heart - it was only when they felt that brush of humanity that they could finally open that dialogue and find themselves on even ground at last. I adore Ken and I still love and have hope for them, even if it's outside of canon now. Rambling aside, this was so beautiful. Thank you 💙

I hear that from a lot of guys - 'He knows deep down that you don't like him in the same way.' It's that quiet desperation knowing what you know and deciding how much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to be with someone that does not love you as much as you do them, and the safest position is pretending or trying not to act or love as much just to stay sane and safe by becoming less vulnerable.

Ken is a character I can relate to a lot.

Wow, amazing video. Really showing us how Ken feels. On the surface level he might seem "goofy" but he was harboring all these feelings of wanting to belong and be seen. Loved seeing it all shown like this and Ken beeing shown as the man, not doll accessory, he is. You are Kenough. You don't have to be in the shadows any longer.

I completely respect Barbies choice to go to real world I only hope that Ken works on himself more to become better person… I hope in the inevitable Barbie 2 (which it would be perfect if it was called Barbie andKen haha) it’s about Ken becoming human to reunite with Barbie and both of them coming together to find out what it truly means to be human!! This was an incredible edit, I was watching it with my Barbie and Ken dolls haha you have such a gift for weaving scenes together and creating a story from that. Thank you so much, it brought a tear to my eye. 😭🩷🩷🩷

@@baileytodd3579 The REAL Barbie would never treat Ken this way. Did you know that Greta Gerwig was never even a fan of Barbie to begin with? Her mother discouraged her from playing with them. Greta has also been diagnosed with ADHD, people with this condition may appear to be selfish pricks but only behave that way, which is very much indicative of this Barbie. So it's my belief that the movie is not about Barbie but rather an extension of Greta subconsciously.

The fact that people feel sorry for Ken just because Barbie didn't wanna be with him 🙄 it's almost like elementary school all over again. Some dude pines after a girl, gets rejected then everyone tells her she's a bad person for not wanting him. Ken did not love Barbie. Never cared about what Barbie wanted, never truly supported her, only wanted to hurt her so he can make her "need him" after he screwed up Barbie land all because of his fragile ego. His interest in her was shallow af. Then he's also dumb and immature, his only redeeming traits were that Ryan Gosling is handsome, has abs and is funny. I don't feel sorry for Ken. Barbie did nothing wrong. She wasn't even mean to him, only honest and straightforward-- never lead him on or kept him guessing. This movie provided a healing message and apparently it went over many people's heads. That's the only thing I don't like about Barbie. The people who watched it.
