To be fair while our agents don’t have a set backstory so can kind of make it up it makes sense that we aren’t a nobody. We are for sure former tier 1 like delta or devgru for sure. I’m pretty sure it’s canon that are in fact one of if not the most dangerous agent recruited by the division. It’s the only way to explain why we succeed where others fail. Also I’m pretty sure all division agents receive combat training when they are recruited. But not everyone is at the same level which is why so many from the first wave died.

I ranted about this already on reddit, needed to vent. Here the short version: It is lazy and cheap writing on the level of a soap opera. Which was in seasons not that important as long this game was on life support. For a game supposedly to be revived and wanting to sell a DLC, I expect better story telling.

I understand what you’re saying, and I don’t disagree, but from what I remember, Viper’s role in the S.A.S. was “only” logistical, she wasn’t really an operative But, to contrast my own point, we learned this season that Viper was supposedly a hunter. I remember taking her down all the way back, the waves of ads keeping her safe posed a much bigger threat than she did, and that’s exactly NOT what a hunter is

I don't even get Keener coming back tbh. We literally watched the guy flatline at the end of the new york dlc. He was dead. You don't magically come back from being dead. Theo too. I shot him in the head multiple times. He's dead. Tbh I have not been paying very much (if any) attention to the story since then. I only started paying attention when Kelso stupidly touched the magic box and got herself kidnapped. I then started paying even more attention when my dumbarse character went and touched the same magic box at the end of the manhunt after seeing what it did to Kelso a few weeks earlier. If stuff happened that would explain zombie Keener in the seasons between then and now, I would love someone to fill me in because I frankly didn't care enough to watch the cut scenes or listen to the audio logs between then and now. If nothing else I might get a good laugh out of it.

Honestly it all felt like something they're trying to drum up some hype for the upcoming dlc/expansion. The writing has been "meh" through div 2 with a few golden nuggets here and there, but... the 2nd half of the descent comms and the story since natashya has been worse... that's including utter disappointment being faye lau where the second to last comm was actually honestly good (but ofc in game of thrones spirit "they kinda forgot about it". But then it took them a freaking year to give us a "meh" end movie, a non-existant debfrief. This year has been bordered on season 8 game of thrones bad. New story, badly written, no conclusion, hype next story tidbit, repeat. It is clear that the writers are as incompetent as the people designing the new gear & talents.

I've based so many of my builds off of the refreshingly accurate data you provide through your Division content and appreciate and respect that very much. I know the time, effort and diligence required to be accurate so hats off to you good sir. That being said, I gave this game the "old college try" I really did. It was fun for a little while but then I discovered Ghost Recon Breakpoint a REAL 3rd person tactical shooter with a stealth element and an actual melee system unlike The Division 2's nudges and slaps. As for the lore? Well let's just say they should remove Tom Clancy's name off the title. I was also told that Division is a power fantasy game. Power? If I had so much power. howcome I died so many times because I couldn't step over a twig or a frikkin' grocery bag or had to empty 3 whole clips into a shield which was clearly a trash can lid. Don't even get me started with the horrendous drop chances for gear with stats that you want (countdown is a joke). I realize RNG exists but this game has horrible percentages also I play Warframe which IS AN ACTUAL power fantasy game with fluid combat movement and an amazing parkour system. So I woke up and stopped playing this game entirely. It was a waste of time. Safe to say, I do not recommend playing this. Full stop.

Yes I agree there is a difference between people with field experience and not agreed but how many of them train 24/7 the answer is none sure they may work out in between rotations but they only train ever so often and we know division agents train in sims that mimic real word scenarios like decent given a realistic enough sim the mind cannot tell the difference that’s why when you see a roller coaster go over the hill in a video your stomach drops as well and once again division agents train twenty four seven so does it put them on the same level I would say it gets them close and given the right conditions can be beneficial

New to the channel but I see a common misinterpretation of what a “Rogue” agent is that a lot of people and KZreadrs are making. Rogue doesn’t automatically equate to evil or bad. It just means “off mission” according to ISAC’s programming and we know how flawed that is. There is a lot more nuance and it’s not that black and white. That’s what the story is trying to get it. NGN lore channel picked up on this pretty well.

You're giving Kelso too much credit. The difference between completing Ranger School and being a actual Ranger are miles apart. Not to mention the standards for women going through Ranger School have been questioned by Congress to see how far standards were lowered for women, and they refused to show just how much they lowered them, saying "We don't report to you (congress) we report to the President" (because the success rate of women that completed Ranger School was astronomically high compared to their male counterparts) Plus, generally Para Military operators for the CIA are recruited former Special Forces Officers. Kelso couldn't have been a Ranger (other than wishful thinking by DEI based writers) to be recruited as a Operator because there has only been 1 female actual Ranger, and last I knew she was assigned to a garrison position. So at best Kelso would be a Analyst with the Operator title. Still highly involved, but not near the badass you're making her out to be. Also you may be confusing Rangers with Green Berets. Green Berets (and what they are capable of doing, regularly) is how you keep referring to Kelsos potential lethality. Rangers are a elite unit, but they're quite a few steps down from Green Berets. Green Berets are the ones called on, to go in and destabilize countries (when/if needed) not Rangers.

I am aware there is a differance, training for and being are indeed two entirely seperate things, and Ranger school only teaches the bare minum and is mostly comprised of physical fitness tests as well as working underpressure and with some hectic sleep deprivation. And although you are correc that many governemts have looked at the requirments for women. No unit, USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Singapore, non of the Tier 1 Special Forces have drop the requirements for gender. So that completion rate for women you have there is complete bogus. You can literally google it. They have a break down of the course and rates online. www.moore.army.mil/infantry/artb/Student-Information/content/PDF/ARTB%20Ranger%20Course%20Information.pdf No, generally Para Military Officers are not recruited from Special Forces. In fact you will actually find that most special forces, especially in the US, hate working with their respective "inteligence" agencies and this is also why many countries develope their own Special Force Intelligence. Also, I never said she was a Ranger, I actually explicitely said I doubt she was as I believe women cannot be, but this does not stop them from doing the Ranger School. Though again, after reading up on this after the fact, there has been two Female US Rangers. Though this does not mean that they must work within the rangers. Many do these courses as a show of faith,/good will to their respective units and simply do the course, then return to their original unit (RTU). As you previously stated, completing Ranger School and being a Ranger are two very different things. Actually no, I worked and trained with Rangers as well as Delta for a period of 18 months. I know full well what they are capable of. Though to suggest that they are a step down from any other Tier 1 SF unit is a bit of an insult. This is not how US SF works. Each has their own tips, tricks and skills. Infact, if we REALLY want to dig into this, Green Berrets are not even listed as an SMU (Special Missions Unit). 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta or Commonly known as Delta Force. Naval Special Warfare Development Group - Or Navy SEAL, most notably SEAL Team SIX. 24th Special Tactics Squadron - Or JSOC (these are the guys that rescue SF units.) Intelligence Support Activity - Originalyl classified under INSCOM and these are one of those Military Intelligence Agencies I mentioned earlier. So, you know, SF do not have to deal with CIA. And finally Army Ranger's Regimental Reconnaissance Company - Or US Rangers. Go ahead, ask me how I know this . . . .

@@DodRegnbueAs far as the 2nd so called female Ranger goes, anyone who's served can see the bs from miles away. A 38yr old mother of 2??? Bwahahaha, nice try. Anyone can see that's pure bs. Yes, although I was probably at my strongest when I was in my late 30s/early 40s (outlifting college athletes half my age, and more energy than my own Jr high and HS children athletes) there's still a big difference of strength and fitness levels (especially military needs) And yes I know, as a former DI I don't fall into the standard military personel fitness/ability pool. But there's no way I was able to do what would've been necessary, at a SF level, at that time. So NO, I obviously don't think she met the requirements to earn her SF Tab. Pure political PR stunt. As far as former SF recruited to CIA goes, I recommend checking out a guy named Shawn Ryan (former SF Oper and CIA Oper) who will have former operators (from both, and who were both) on his show constantly. He talks about his transition to working for the CIA. Time as a Oper in both, etc.. As far as Green Berets go, I'm thinking theirvSF classification falls under Rangers. I have a couple friends who are former Rangers and they've referred to the Green Berets as the Next Step. It might also come down to a similar situation we had as Marines (yes I'm a former Marine) with SOCOM and MARSOC (Recon and Raiders) classifications because of how SF is funded, and our funding originally came indirectly out the Marine Corps budget, until we split into SOCOM as well.
