That was a very good & safe flight considering the low cloud cover & moisture in the air. Ya'll seemed happy & comfortable. Awesome & safe travels next time

I miss the R22. Every time there's rain, my brain yells: carb heat!. Comes in handy though, after "micro-panicking", I flip the pitots on. haha. Nice video!

Nice flying. Reminded me of my ex gf with her... long hair back in 1973 near Saigon, on a no door UH-1B. Luckily the gunner has some hair net. We never wear safety belt on the chopper whether flying hi or low except the gunner-sometime lol.

Nice flight. You keep adding more gopro angles! So is there one on the skids, one on the cyclic, and where is the other angle from?

So you've got the one on the cyclic looking left, and the one on the skids (it's actually on the frame just under the engine. It's a little more stable there). The other two are along the frame going down the front of the windscreen. One at the top of it looking forward, and one in the middle above the instrument cluster looking back at us. You can see those two cameras looking at each other.

Good video. I think Kelsey was very brave to get into the Robinson with the doors off on a cloudy/wet day. Good for her. I'm a former Army helicopter pilot and wonder about the sturdiness of the Robinson. Do you feel that it's a sturdy helicopter or would you rather have something more substantial if you could? Wonder if the Robinson 44, being larger, feels more substantial.

This makes me want my rotary ticket.

What flight company is this with? And do they do checkouts for helicopter private pilots?

what model camera was it that she brought along?

I'm looking forward to my fist lesson in a 22 next week. I'm interested in knowing more about the gloves that you're wearing.

2 bad mother nature didn't give the pretty lady a better weather system for her 1st R 22 flight but that's how it goes. I like this kind of flying with the doors removed bid of wind in the cockpit; hidden sun makes better for smooth flying and fishing in the small potholes around this area.👍

is it difficult to learn how to fly this compared to a plane?

I would say so, yes. There's a lot more moving parts and complicated physics acting on a helicopter. Airplanes are generally more stable than helicopters. In straight and level flight, you could let go of the controls of a small Cessna, and it would most likely just keep doing what it's doing, depending on the trim settings. You do that in a helicopter and it would not be good. I enjoy the challenge though.

Awesome! Gotta impress the chicks! I love taking people flying both in airplanes and helicopters. That's the best part of having a pilot license. But, you gotta get an Enstrom. Robinsons are death traps. I learned in an R22 too, but I wouldn't go near one now.
