*HOW A MAKESHIFT BAND STARTS A VICTOR KUNONGA SONG WITHOUT AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR:*
The dialogue presented on the caption in the beginning of this video is an accurate portrayal of the conversation that took place during Kelly Rusike's memorial event last night.
Victor Kunonga was unexpectedly asked to perform on stage without his band,and there was no acoustic guitar. He had to choose musicians from the audience, including me.
The challenge was figuring out how to start a Victor Kunonga song without an acoustic guitar. I was only familiar with the main guitar melody from listening to the song on radio, so I improvised and created all the additional guitar lines on the spot.
