This song was a hit in the townships. It resonated with what we grew up seeing in the townships. Another one, Karate popularised the martial art, at a time when we were watching Bruce Lee films and Chuck Noris. I still do karate today. Thanks to Mukoma Elijah. This brought back some memories of my uncle in Mbare he was a talented goalkeeper but notorious as well fighting ,stealing even at his football club so this other time he go arrested and spent some nights in the cell then came out very embarassed ,so his older brother ha a field day mocking him whilst singing this song ,it stuck in my head every time I was tempted to stray away kkkk
