Good video showing technique to get tinder. I just got the Kelly Kettle Ultimate Scout Kit. The Hobo Stove that comes with it makes a nice cook surface. The pot stand you used can pop in the top of the kettle to boil water and cook at the same time.

I love that telescopic pipe you have for blowing on the embers - where did you get that please?

Nice job of cooking with the KK. Compared to other twig stoves, do you find the KK more or less work than other stoves for cooking? I ask because that it looks like you had to be very careful with you stick placement so as not to suffocate the flame.

Thanks. Its a great stove for boiling water as the chimney draws the air in, and is fast boil time. But when it comes to cooking its ok, the air holes have to be in direct air flow, and there wasn't any wind hardly, and the smaller twigs was a bit wet. As soon as I started to put the bigger stuff in was much better. Hope this helps.

if i ever reestablish an actual base camp i want to get one of those for it

what pouch is that you are carrying it in and does it fit the larger sizes trying to decide on a cook system and the bulky of the kk is putting me off

I think it’s a Viper one from Military 1st. Yes I was a bit indecisive about a KK because of the bulk, but I’m so glad I got it.

Where is the cast fry pan from .

it was part of a bake your own cookie thing my daughter had for xmas one year. think you can still get them in BanM or Home bargains type shop.
