It's a rip off of another cover version by Corey Grey and Jenny lane..

She's amazing. She never hits a wrong note. The most important thing with Kelly Clarkson: she feels what she sings.

I wish Adele would hit the notes of this song that she "always" avoids hitting when singing it live, and I have to admit that Kelly not only did justice to this song, but in fact I have to say, I think she went beyond!

Yeah Adele has a limited range that can’t naturally hit those notes live easily. With her forceful, powerful singing it makes her so susceptible to injury. Plus she smoked.

This version is two key higher then the original much harder to sing

Even Adele never sang "Don't Forget me I beg..." at high note in her live performances. It is very very hard! Kudos to Kelly for the attempt.

The person who co-wrote the song with her has said that she doesn't like the album version of the song (he's the one that talked her into doing the high notes during the chorus) so that's why she never performed it live like that.

Adele is an alto and Kelly a soprano, so it's less hard for Kelly to do the high part ;) She is covering in a higher key too!!

Geam Yamaguti no no no! It's not about the note, but about range! The same way it's easier to Adele to reach low notes cause she's an alto, it's easy to Kelly to reach high notes for being a soprano! But this song will have the same range to anyone who try to sing it!

Matheus Souto Bastos That's what I said. You can't talk about range without mentioning notes. As a soprano, Kelly reaches high notes effortlessly because her vocal range allows her to do so. On the other hand, Adele's low notes are richer than Kelly's. And it's quite obvious this song has the same range to anyone who sings it. Guess why? It's the same song! :B

OMG she hit those very hit notes in "..Don't forget me I bet..". Damn I feel like crying.

Kelly has such a distinct style when she sings that even when she sings Adele's song, it doesn't sound like she's imitating Adele at all, in fact she kinda made it her own. That's a true artist there.

I don't know how she thought she would suck singing this. She is one of the best singers that has ever lived honestly

She is a brilliant performer and her voice is so powerful

I almost cried, her performance is perfectly amazing .

Kelly has a beautiful voice, Adele is amazing also. You can't really compare their two voices because theyre both from two totally different parts of the world and are trained to sing differently. Kelly did an amazinggggg job with this song putting her take on the song. I wouldn't want her to try to sing it exactly like Adele because it wouldnt be her. She's doing a cover of a song so you also can't expect her to have the same emotional connection Adele has either.

Thats simply the greatest female rock singer of all-time! Flat out! Her qualities in her voice are unmatched 1- The VOICE itself...(feminine and beautiful) 2- The ROCK to sing that hard and yell in tune! 3- The SOUL to enable her to extend the song to a much deeper place. 4- The POWER to blast her voice into the nose-bleed seats without a mic! She posseses ALL 4! Most people have only a couple of them. FOLKS! Nobody is even close .....

Kelly did a fantastic job. She has so much talent. So proud she’s a fellow Texan.

When Adele sings this song, she imbues it with more raw emotion and with great power in the lower registers and this gives it so much impact on the listener. Kelly has to be one of the greatest singers ever for her range and power. I love what she did with this song, and she will always remain one of my favourite singers ever.

I personally have not seen comments of people comparing the two, however when Adele sings live she is very pitch, and I've never heard Kelly sing pitchy. She is constantly tuning her voice regardless of what song she is singing. Adele is incredible though, and the soul she brings to this song is unmatched.

Why is her voice always so perfect?

Everytime she speaks to the audience in such a funny, sweet, personality-filled way before a song there's a voice inside my head that goes "god I love you"... She's just such an incredible person.

Kelly made this song her own! This was great. I always love listening to this and her other covers.

She did amazing on this. this is how covers should be. A perfect homage. As a musician, yes she did sing this in a higher key, she has the power which Adele has in her voice, but it is very much Kelly singing. The purpose of a cover is to pay homage, not to create a replica. And I think Kelly did this very well.

Finally someone gets the "dont forget me" part right. Everyone else does it the easy way

I am a HUGE Adele fan, and have been a Kelly fan from the day she auditioned. I am blown away by the justice Kelly did for this Adele song! Stunning!

I really love and appreciate Adele. But dear Kelly, this was unbelievable, incredibly good. Thank you so much for all those feelings you sent. ❤️❤️❤️

Why do we need to compare the two? They are both talented in their own right... I like both, Adele and Kelly. At least they can both sing live. Cover their sing and refuse to lip sing like alot of today's singers

I dont think people who dont sing realise just how difficult it is to hit those notes in a full chest-mix belt every single chorus and not one flat or crack out of place (since she’s capable of those stylistically) …and top that to the fact that she just covered an Adele ballad and absolutely crushed it (out of hands of any other artist in my opinion).

My first thought: she definitely sings it AS WELL as Adele -- no better or worse, just distinct. It's fascinating to hear two different interpretations of a brilliant song by two of the most brilliant singers of our time.

She's amazing. Beautiful song, beautiful singer. She's so strong. I like it better than the original. This woman is my idol. Also P!nk. They should do a duet.

Love her voice (and her personality) Second I can't say whether Kelly sang this song better than Adele or not, since I have never really heard all of the original song (just bits and pieces of it) But still, I thought Kelly did an excellent job singing this song.

And also just wanted to say that I've always thought that Kelly and Pink (another one of my favourite singers) should do a duet together. I think their voices would sound amazing together. I've thought this ever since I tried to find one of Kelly's songs (or so I thought at the time) and couldn't find it anywhere. Only to find out it was actually a song of Pink's. No wonder I couldn't find it I was looking under the wrong artist, duh!

She took the song and bring her own twist to it. its really refreshing to hear her version of this song. my ears are clapping with happiness

i am never an adele fan so i guess that is why i prefer this version. i don't care about the emotions conveyed for this song, but kelly's voice is just way much stronger and fiercer that adele's which is what i love the most about kelly's voice. the way this song was arranged also really fits to showcase what kelly is made of.

Even Adele fucks up the "Don't forget me, I beg" line in the first chorus by chickening out and not going for the high falsetto notes that are found in the original song. Adele and all the other cover artists back off from those notes, but Kelly is fearless and never backs down.
