Yes, I think she did a great job of staying true to Dolly's orig version while still adding in a few elements from the more recognizable, Whitney version. This was a Dolly tribute after all. She respected both Dolly & her song. My respect to Kelly for doing so. 🙌

J like usual English J, u long sound like 'oo' in mood, l as usual and e as like as 'ee' in see) I do love you ... sorry, I am German, so I don't know how to make a the difference between "I love you" (romantically) and "I love you" (the way you appear on YT as a human being, just as like as I also love Barbra Streisand or M.J. as artists and so on. ). And with love, I mean much more than just like. Having said that, please also bear with me if my expressions, idioms and terms aren't correctly at all times. English is not my native tongue. You're talking so fast, but very clearly though, so I hardly have any trouble understanding what you say, which is great, and what I also love about you, your comments to performances of celebs are profound and qualified (in opposite to so many wannabe immature "reactioners" here on YT). Do you happen to teach? If yes, would you do so online (i.e. via zoom) and if yes, what would it cost per hour? I am so tired of looking for qualified teachers, I had bad luck so far, I either met "Divas" who want to change me to an opera singer (which I don't want, although I 'd really like to learn how to produce a true classical sound) ... or I met jerks who can hardly do more or better then I already know by myself by autodidactic learning. I really don't need any lessons (and waste money) only to endlessly perform different intervals to the sound of any old piano and so on, I do wanna learn how to use my inner organs, bones, soft and hard tissue and palate and larynx and muscles and tongue, diaphragm (is this the right term for that separating muscle between rib cage and abdomen?) , lungs, throat and so on ... I understand that "soundchecks" of course have to be made, but only singing whatever boring intervals in a lesson and not doing anything else but that is waste of money of which I do not have much. I already learned a lot by all of your comments on different artists, but I'd like to learn more. I am thinking of i.e. one intense lesson per month, so I got plenty of work to do for a months or even more, and then continue ... may be, you have a better suggestion? However I can only practice one hour per day ... that's my biggest handicap. Thnx 4 ur answer in advance.
