I always wanted Anna to get more emotional at the last verse but she always sings it like the record (not complaining) it was cool to hear how it sounds this way ,Kelly sure has pipes ! Holy Toledo !!

HOLY F'N SH*T!!!! How did it take 10yrs for this to come across my recommended videos? I can't believe I never saw it with all the other live cuts I've watched of Kelly. Not sure how many men realize what an amazing artist she is. I'm happy to defend my fandom when friends tease me for enjoying her music. She's so not the commercial candy that we expect from shows like American Idol. She's unique, passionate & a true artist in her own right- add that to those amazing pipes & I personally don't believe any other "big name" out there is on her level. Anna Nalick has always been a huge fave of mine & I loved this song when it came out. It's always been high on my list. I loved it because Anna was so heartfelt in her music- the words hit me deep at the time & helped a friend of mine who was going through a tough time. She really connected with the lyrics. I really hope Anna got a chance to see this. Kelly took her beautiful words & added a whole other level of intense emotion to it. Thank you soooo much Shelbi for sharing this!!!

Have watched this video repeatedly over the years. Can’t even imagine what it would have been like to be there live in the arena in Oklahoma in 2012. Was praying she’d sing it again at the show I caught at Radio City in 2016?; but thankfully we still have this video. So controlled at the beginning before going full Kelly!! You feel the brilliance & truth of every lyric in this brilliant song.

I saw this live...one of my favorite fan requests. Stood next to the guy screaming "go ahead!" at the end lol. Also caught Kelly and Reba's Two Worlds Two Voices tour. Kelly is a phenomenal live singer.

This one made me cry....and I love Ana Nalick! Gosh I loved Kelly since her first audition on American Idol..she was a star. She is my star!!! I love HER!

Hey, it's hard be hip sometimes. Back around 2004 I started listening to 'Pandora' while working in my home office. Over the next few years I "discovered" several very cool artists about whom I knew nothing. Anna Nalick was just one of them. Don't need to tell you....great songs and a very good singer. Clarkson has got to be one of the more 'real' people who came out of that whole 'tv star' thing, and it's especially nice to see how much she appreciates music and JUST SINGING. Another good yet obscure KC performance, is from a TV show....probably a reunion of the first show she was on or something. She sings 'Up To The Mountain' (originally written and recorded by an earlier artist Patty Griffin) and NAILS it. Playing along with her was a classic yet truly great guitarist Jeff Beck. Just shows how hip she is.

Wow, that was fantastic. I really love the original as well. They both bring different things to the table. Just a phenomenal song all the way around. Once a great song is out there it usually takes on a life of its own and ends up with many different versions. It's like the artist releasing their 'child' out into the world.

This is an amazing cover. Kelly is really talented. Anna Nalick is just as talented in her own style. One is a power singer and the other is a more of a folk singer. I’ve never understood why Anna hasn’t become a mega star. She is as talented as any super star out there.

In this day and age of here today and gone tomorrow lyrics and bubblegum pop divas, or Ingrid Michaelson wannabees, it is still good to know that talent is the only thing that endures.
