Look..Kelly is a true vocalist. Range, Dynamics, vocal control, runs , melisma and most of all a sincere love and appreciation for music. It comes through she is not coasting thru anything. When that Mic is on Kelly is going to do her job. Period! One more thing to point out. Kelly has been around a min..20 years and still killing it. She to this day is so happy to be invited. Very humble strong woman. On to you Faith. You have a brilliant ear in pointing out her agility and hilarious. I mean come on. You need a talk show haha I Know You Wont (vh1) is a favorite of mine and so many. A true gem. Keep it up lets go 50K

The really unbelievable performance was 2019 Billboard Music Award medley. Kelly did while in terrible pain from appendicitis -- she had emergency surgery the following morning. WOW. She is such a pro!

I feel like Kelly needs to see this. And have you as a guest on her show. In your glass box. 🤣 Deadass. I'ma type it into existence - and send this to her. And we're not gonna skip past you nailing those runs, mama... 🤯 I just love you. 💖

Exactly my thoughts!

She has a vocal talent that maybe five people a generation can match. And the thing with her is unlike a lot of singers whose voices kind of fry out and burn out as they age her voice just keeps getting better and better she's far more Rich she's broadening her lower octaves she is freaking phenomenal. There is not a genre that she can't perfect. Just this little opening shows she is everything and I think that's why she gets slept on to a lot of people who aren't her stans like me cough cough. I have watched her from her first no on American idol through her whole 20-year career. She never ceases to amaze me and what she can do. I think she will definitely be doing that again. She has a new album coming out but it's taking its time because she wrote it during her divorce but her talk show has won her a Emmy plus every year her first year that never happens. She's literally the goat.

You really need to hear "meaning of life" Nashville sessions. Shows Kelly's talent to a tee..thank you

She's slept on because she doesn't self-promote...very self confident (not arrogant) but didn't do makeup/perfume/clothing deals, didn't do commercials, and other big market things that others would/have done to increase their $$$$$$ as well as market/brand name awareness. She's also anti social media except for her tours, album releases, her shows, etc. so that means she didn't develop a huge teen following like Taylor and others...so, that's why so many have slept on her. Social media has made alot of people very lazy...

I want you to watch the voice so you can see her singing moments and goofy moments. She’s literally one of my favs not just because of her talent but also because of her personality. She’s so sweet

Her version of Up to the Mountain is great.

I personally believe she is one of the greatest vocalists in the world.

I’m so ready for this Kelly binge! Yes girl!

She grew up classically trained but listened to tons of Aretha and Gladys and Patti and all that. Her voice is exceptional.

If you're interested she did another medley for the 2019 BBMAs as well. It's equally as fun.

LOL... she's hasn't been "slept on" it's just that people have written her off with their preconceived opinions. She has a voice like no other singer out there. She doesn't need pyrotechnics, light shows, or dancers to distract from her voice; her voice is all that's needed. No other artist can cover every genre with her skill, often making the songs better than the original song. It's refreshing to see more people are being introduced to her music. I'm a senior and have seen and heard almost every artist/style/genre there is and no one can do what Kelly does with a song.

coming from a guy that is open ears on music, any song from artists I don’t quite like or can’t get, once kelly puts her hands on it, I will listen to.

Kelly actually had appendicitis and was in extreme pain during the billboard awards but still did the show went out and slayed her performance. Also if u wanna see a gospel side of kelly watch her performance up to the mountain.

One of my favorite things about Kelly is that you can understand all the words/lyrics when she sings.

She is awesome in all ways. One of the only truly genuine special humans in this world, so talented while so humble. She is a legend & has been for 20 years.

ooooooooooh, that final episode on fox, she got emotional though. like, when she started balling, I couldn’t. that was like, coming home to the family funeral type stuff, like losing that close family cause that’s where she got it all started.

I love that you love her. In my opinion she is without a doubt the best vocalist currently. One of the best of all time. Up there with Aretha and whitney. You should watch her second year at the billboards, another medley and for sure check out meaning of life Nashville sessions. That’s probably the best showcase of her voice!

She was the host and did a medley for the billboard awards in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Her Song “I Dare You” where she singing in 5 languages is awesome. As well as her song with Pink makes you cry. And her last Christmas Special 2021 with Brett Eldridge, Ariana Grande and Leslie Odom is incredible. And on her show she sings a song every episode called Kellyokie. Definitely need to check these out. I love your reactions.

Kelly was in such pain in 2019 when she hosted the BBMA show. They had a doctor on call just in case Kelly ruptured her appendix. I LOVE KELLY & yes she can sing anything! When she was still on American Idol, & I'm sorry I can't remember which day it was on except it was toward the ending of the season & she sang a Whitney Houston song. So if u want to really hear her vocal range or all the different genres she can sing, then u should was the whole season 1 (I know u have all the time in the world to watch it...LOL) but u can kind of fast torward through her performances so ur only hearing a few sentences & then react to certain songs. I'll try to find the exact song I'm talking about. Plus 1 time she had all th judges from The Voice on her talk show & somehow it came up about how she bounces when she gets excited listening or singing a song. Like on the vido, watch at 2:57, she said she doesn't even remember or realize that she's doing it. Wait...the judges didn't tell her, I think it was a fan she was talking to her & the fan was telling her how she loves it when she gets up & starts bouncing.

Right after this show she had her appendix taken out!! She was hurting and still did this great show❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
