I have a 20”er and it’s a well thought out rifle. If you set your gas adjustment properly, zero issues with functioning and it will run like a scalded ape. Only issue I have run into is zeroing due to the height over bore being more than I am accustomed to, but that’s an easy fix. Great little rifle, compact and well balanced. Cheers.

I think most issues came misadjusted gas or early growing pains with the rifle production.....hell not a gun manufacture to date hasn't had a few lemons on early production models. People just love to hate on Kel Tec no matter what. To be honest if you have a doublefeed with any rifle most are going to find cover to evaluate or transition to a secondary firearm vs troubleshooting in dire moments (which to be honest 99% of people will never experience a critical moment)

You're the first channel I've seen that does closeups like this. I really appreciated being able to see up close, even if the camera was focus breathing a bit. (A quick fix to that is when to put your whole palm behind the part you're wanting to highlight. That gives the camera's focus sensor something [bigger] to lock onto.) Also thank you for the non-crotch shot! 🤣 PS: I saw in another comment you're a fabricator and designer by profession. A thought [that you likely have had]: with your specialized knowledge, detailed shots, and love of guns, you could find a niche in KZread and make a living off just videos. I mean kids review MAKEUP and make $10k a month! Like I said: I'm not familiar with anyone else doing detailed videos like this. And even if so, you have a unique mix that might do *really* well. With a tripod, solid (white?) background, and a couple nice LED lights, your shots-and perhaps channel-would go to the next level.

I appreciate the comments! Not sure I want to make a living off MY YT videos, but I do enjoy throwing some info out there now and again! Took a little break from everything since I just settled in another state, but I totally plan on throwing a few more RDB videos out there, just because it is such a Love Hate rifle for so many. It does have quite the cult following though and people who want to get in the bullpup game at a reasonable price. Thanks for the focus tips.as well👍

If you want to keep feeling like it's high quality make sure to never fully take apart the receiver...as soon as you separate the two halves and see how flimsy they actually are it kills your confidence. Also be weary of light primer strikes. It's a cool design, but I'd never use my RDB for life-or-death situations.

Meh, as a fabricator and designer by profession, I see flimsy components by themselves all day long. Once assembled or mated with other components that is where they gain the rigidity needed to perform. Its like a stamped ak reciever before assembly. I can twist and bend the reciever to the point of ruin until fully assembled.....then its rock solid. So the proof is in the pudding for me, this gun has been a solid performer through experience with this specific rifle. Thanks for your comment!
