You didn’t even wash rice ?

Do you really have to soak it first? So, is that mean if I don't soak it, I need to cook it on the stove for 25 mins?

I don't soak the rice but I cook it slowly. Now I use it without timing the cook time. I base on the steam smell of rice it's near ready. Then listen to the sound of water boiling inside. It's a slight change to softer sound then immediately turn off the fire or get it off fire. Even if I was wrong after open up and see, I just put it back on fire.

@@nongkie I use slow fire, so at the same time I can do something else. It's very useful. I even use it at home for single person meals.
