What can I say? The '90s was a truly unique musical period. I truly love the diverse masterpieces from that era, including black metal, death metal, electronic, synth, and ambient.

Cheers,I can relate / I definitely have similar taste! Kit Watkins is amazing if you haven't heard him yet. Kinetic Vapors, Sunstruck,or Holographic Tapestries.. he's got more albums, but those 3, or any one of them may be a great introduction

yeah, late 80s and 90s in general were just wild for creating new genres and stuff that didn't quite fit into genres

@@Ledgeview yeah, Bauhaus were no stranger to Fretless bass though - the other song i think of is All We Ever Wanted was Everything, I remember reading a review of the remaster where they were saying you can hear just like when the fretless bass strains to play the right note - meant in a positive way since the song has a very "tired" aura to it

@@Ledgeview i was actually thinking of Akino Arai probably, who did the Ending songs to Outlaw Star, some of her stuff has fretless bass in it, including those themes. I think "ethereal" type genres used it because of that kind of sleepy feeling it has

@Sounds of the Dawn - Where do you generally find these cassettes? I never see them on ebay. They must be very rare. Incredible tape.
