Keith Merrow, Jeff Loomis, Ola Englund- JamUp "Bro 2.0"
Музыка
Jeff Loomis and I were trying out our new signature amp packs for Jamup Pro. We threw this little jam together similar to the way we've done it in the past... we spontaneously wrote and recorded the one in a couple hours. It's fun to just let loose and jam! Of course, no bro jam is complete without brOla Englund.
Thanks to JamUp Pro for making this visit possible (again). We had a great time!

Jeff Loomis doesn't get as much credit as her deserves. His melodic solos and lead licks are so good.

@@tromboneman4517 Nah riff guitarist would be more specific actually with Keith, every thing in music involves rhytms that's why, even rubato, but riffs is more specific to what he does generally.. Majority out look on this is wrong or very vague at best, just like with many if not most things.

Riff guitarist is actually more accurate than what that counter argument says, stick with that. All music involves rhythm that's why, even rubato

that ending riff is fuckin sick, jesus christ
From 1:57 to 2:15 Ola's using the C ascending melodic minor scale Then from 2:15 to 2:23, he's playing in the key of G major. Since the rythm guitar is playing the fourth (C) and first degree (G) of this scale, you can say he's playing in C lydian when the rythm guitar is playing a C chord. So you're absolutely right : you have a pretty good hear man! And yes the feeling in this part is just awesome! \m/ (X_x) \m/
everytime i watch this i have a silly grin on my face!! so looking forward to the album release!!!
I always come back for the intro
Ola's solo is a fucking masterpiece. Perfect note choice!!

Holy fucking shit. That might of been the best vid I've seen you guys do and I've been watching for years now.
Ola´s face at 0:14
Actually I'd prefer if those three just form a band and keep it instrumental. It has worked greatly so far, and we'll see just how great when Keith and Loomis finished the collaboration album.
This is awesome! I love it so much
Love this!
Cool. So do you guys play guitar often or...?
Jordan Rudess?
Keith absolutely amazing! blown away on every video you post. Keep this shit coming!
Wooo, what a wonderful metal moment I've spent! Thanks guys...
Jeff's style and phrasing always seemed to come from the Paul Gilbert tree of guitarists. They both have hands like giants. I think Paul still plays six strings??? This is incredible.

This is some of the most creative guitar work I've seen in a while, and it's just a jam session for them. Those fucking riffs dude!
Wow! Best song i've ever heard
love all of it so godly
I watched this video one time when it first came out a few years ago. Fast forward to 2017 and I still remember most of the riffs - Keith you write some AMAZING guitar licks lol
Nice twin melody towards the end before the riffage. All in all great experience. I liked it. Expected like... well that's the thing. With Mr. Merrow, his riffs and melody with phrasing is unique and can go places you didn't think. And of course Mr. Loomis shreds like a machine. Mr. Loomis does stuff you wouldn't really expect. And has super cool speedy riffs and pretty sweet vibrato. Both you guys make a nice tandem for a metal band. Keep it up and Sweet
sounds amazing by the way!
OMG ....badass riffs ..epic !!
damn thats brutally awesome!!! the end sequence is rcrazy
That face that Ola pulled was gold. Awesome riffs and epic soloing.
