A father and son team traveling the country touring locations Elvis Presley visited during his lifetime.
On the Anniversary. 49 years ago today, Elvis did his first of five shows in Huntsville, Alabama. To celebrate this occasion, we interviewed Elvis photographer Keith Alverson on the same stage where he saw Elvis perform. Here is his story.

Elvis.... always and forever.
Thank you so much for all this history about Elvis and we are so thankful grateful for people who have given so much for Elvis legacy i love my Elvis ❤😊
Keith is a great guy, I have had many dealings with him on Ebay and also have a few of his pictures. He was always polite and his photos are top notch !!
I'm not gonna be able to watch and listen to this right now. I have people around me. I'll be crying
Fabulous!
Excellent. Known Keith for many years and don't have enough wall space left.
I Loved this so much.❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you
Nice experiences and stories of Elvis' live performances.
Great interview. I became a big fan of Elvis in the mid-60s, as a 15 year old …..my wife too. We live in New Zealand, so we never got to see Elvis in concert. I have so enjoyed looking at these stunning photos & hearing the stories of someone who was so lucky to have actually seen Elvis performing on stage. I cannot even begin to comprehend the excitement of that. Wonderful interview. Thanks.
Elvis Presley is a legend that's a fact 💯 ❤
The emotion of Keith talking about Elvis passing…. Did me in. He still affects us all and his presence on this earth is still missed dearly. ❤
49 years ago taking pictures just doesn't seem like you're photographing history. Great video.
Having a camera like that back then was better than binoculars and thank goodness he never put it down
How well the world of Elvis is done with these encounters that lead to love and friendship. Superb interview, Keith Alverson's emotion touched me. Thank you father and son for what you do for us.
Keith Alverson was so humble in this interview. I’m glad you (Jay) reiterated the enormous respect the Elvis fans have for him and his work. Like you’ve said time and again, Jay, without these pictures we would just be hearing music. These incredible photographers allow us to partake, even if for short moments, what they experienced during an Elvis concert. Watching Keith’s reaction when asked about the day Elvis passed choked me up a little. Thank you Keith for taking us back in time with you. You are appreciated more than you know. Thank you Jay and Michael for sharing these incredible conversations with us! ~Alma

@@alstrada1 I’m not sure who you are referring to. Keith Alverson is alive and well. Mr. Alverson participated in this evening’s @elvisbackontour live Diner conversations. I was a participant in this live. Perhaps you are thinking of someone else.
Keith’s thankyou for all cool Elvis pics you did on Elvis for all us Elvis fans round the world Thank you for this great video
Just wonderful!... what a privilege hearing Keith talking about his incredible past and the precious snap shots in time of Elvis. Thank you Jay and Michael, you should be rightly proud of this work, and all that you do for the Elvis world.
Great job Keith, my brother on the "NEW" Premiere video just released this morning. Emotions were running high at times for me watching this, after all we were there together way back then 49 years ago. It feels like with this new video here like we just Uncovered this Time Capsule that we buried 49 years ago.."The Other World That We Remember & Loved"..Great Job Jay & Michael. Can't wait to see more on Friday & Saturday.
fantastic piece of work, thank you so much for this! Loved it!
I’m writing as I watch the video and I’m really in a awe… and every time I realise it’s such a long time ago I feel a little bit sad, because I couldn’t get the chance to live all this, and at the same time I’m so grateful to people like Keith… you are our eyes on that glorious past… THANK YOU ❤
Excellent interview, guys!! I so appreciate the time, effort, money, and dedication that Mr. Alverson gave throughout Elvis' touring years to capture such beautiful photos of him in concert, and sharing them with all of us to see!! I'm glad he never put his camera down to focus on the concert instead!!! Great work!!! 👏👏👏❤❤
My first big purchase as a young Elvis fan came in 1992 when I bought the book "Elvis On Tour" by Christopher Brown from Ontario, Canada. He went to all 17 concerts on that tour that started in Huntsville and documented each one beautifully.
Perfect shots from Huntsville!! Thank you for this interview, thank you, Keith! Besides: the 1975 3 piece-suits: he couldn't take the Jacket of because it was a jumpsuit, the Jacket is not "removable". But back to that tour: this tour was really special: Huntsville, Uniondale, Asheville, Greensboro, Mobile etc.. Those concerts were just different. He was looking great, sing different songs and was in a exceptional mood. I wishes I could hear and see this shows back then. So, thank you to you all!!!❤
Very interesting video
Great channel. Maybe one will be done at the site of the aloha satellite show
Hi guys, Another great episode. Love the time and effort you guys put into these videos. As i have said before being from England and only being able to see 4 venues Elvis performed in, it is such a pleasure to be able to view venues i will probaly never get to see. As you rightly say Jay we have got to be so gratefull for all the people who not only took photographs but also filmed the shows. Many years ago on an outtakes video of Elvis thats the way it is, there was footage of Elvis leaving his suite at the International hotel going to his dressing room. If i had a wsh so to speak it would be for you guys to film the same route Elvis took. Whether you would be able to do that is another question!!! I do know it was a long way to get to his dressing room. so looking forward to seeing many more entertaining videos.
I'm really looking forward to watching this entire video. I love the May 30 to June 10, 1975 Tour and especially those Huntsville shows! Elvis was in a playful mood, sounded wonderful, and the mix of songs on the setlist were nice too.
Keith, great job and so glad I’ve had the opportunity to meet you in person along with Marsha. Really enjoyed this interview.
Great interview,really interesting 😊
Excellent interview with my buddy Keith! Thanks for doing this Jay and Michael.
Welcome back guys good interview and video 👍
hello great upload it is great to see thes from adrian in the uk
To answer Keith's question about the suits from the April/May '75 tour...they appeared to be a suit, but the top was attached to the pants so he wouldn't have been able to take the jacket off.
Excellent. I really enjoyed this great interview. Love Keith and Marsha and proud to call them my friends. Like all the fans I sure do appreciate all those great photos Keith has captured. Love this channel too. Keep up the good work guys. Best wishes from us all in the UK.
Great interview....Keith is a terrific guy and photographer....
Wonderful interview Jay! 😊
Excellent and Greetings from Australia
Thank You.
Thank you for this great video
THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤❤❤❤
i have thes concerts on cd
😎👍
Another great interview and video! 👍👍 Did Keith take the pic of Elvis that was used for the album cover of the 77 Elvis In Concert lp? That was taken in Huntsville. That red Phoenix suit in these pics is beautiful! Top 5 suits imo.

He did not take the 77 Elvis in concert photo
Great interview.. I think the key reason for the stellar Huntsville shots is the very low stage. Incredible detail as Keith mentioned
Is there a place where we could buy some replica of those photographs ? After all, they were shot the very year I was born (49 yo !) and even if Elvis and I just spend 2 years and a half (ya, we were born an 8 ofJanuary) in the same world, he still is “my everything” ! 🙂
Where are the photos that give the ‘Concert’ feel to the photos, so we can see Elvis and a sea of people. Just like we see a Rolling Stones or led zeppelin or any other big bands of that era big concerts with crowds. Where are all those photos.
