Keira takes part in UMK Contest for New Music 2023 with her song No Business On The Dancefloor. The song is a power anthem that encourages everyone to get on the dance floor.
Finland’s representative in Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen in the live UMK final on 25 February at 9:00 PM EET. The show can be watched live worldwide at Yle Areena streaming service with English commentary available, as well as broadcast on Yle TV1, YleX , Yle Radio Suomi and Yle X3M.

Damn, Finland really knows how to serve when it comes to UMK. I'm once again impressed by the effort the Finnish broadcaster puts on for a third year in a row... and we're starting with a pleasant and very radio-friendly bop. Looking forward to hearing the other 6 songs! 🤩❤️🔥🇫🇮

Finland's been putting so much effort in UMK in recent years to a level that they simply deserve to win Eurovision soon, like WOW! The level is so high! Last year was fantastic and we're already off to a great start for UMK 2023! So excited ♥

It's easy to put effort when the taxpayer's money is used in this as YLE is funded by taxes that no one can evade from.

@@Jashmanity Eurovision is a competition among the members of the European Broadcasting Union. In Finland YLE is the only member at the moment. MTV used to be a member, but left in 2019 after they were bought by Swedish Telia. However there is nothing preventing Nelonen from joining the EBU if they want.
I hope Finland and YLE never walks away from this concept they are using in UMK since 2020! There’s just something satisfying with having fun lyric music videos of the artists! And even better that they are all good. To be real, there hasn’t been any song in the recent UMK editions 2020-2023(so far) that are bad! This is so fun and got me hooked before the chorus! Keep this up and we will have Finland’s 2nd win! Heja Suomi!! 🇫🇮❤️

Finland are waiting Pandora x Every Green in May feat TAKOMO to UMK. This collab made a great theme song to the floorball world cup - MORE - Pandora deserves entry to Eurovision. She has participated 2 times in Melfest and once in UMK.

Agree with you about everything else, but I dislike the lyric videos, would much prefer videos without them, as they over-emphasise the lyrics... TBH, lyrics don't really matter in typical pop songs, except that they fit the rhythm of the song (like oBjörn from Abba famously said), and especially not in Eurovision songs! 😂

The chorus sounds like something Cheiron Studios could have produced! Not the sound but the melody and that's a good rating. Even I, who come from the rock and punk school, have to admit that some of it was innovative and listenable.

Wow, I love when I see such a modern approach in Eurovision... She looks and sings a bit like Bella Poarch, I love this dark, pin-up doll vibes she's giving. After 2 years of rock, I think it's time Finland brings something else. This is 2023, people... I think we SHOULD definitely see more types of uptempo songs, songs that have the potential to go viral, in order to get even more awareness to the contest...
