I have made japanese tea bowls in the past. I gave most away to friends. I said to them to use the bowls even to eat their cereal. I don't want to see them sitting on a shelf. Will be great to see someone use this knife one day.

Exactly my point! Thanks for sharing your story. Did you make those tea bowls with the Kabazaiku method by any chance (I love those)? Or ceramics?

It does get. a little bit magical with the whole story of the legendary blacksmith and all. Yeah, it is a really fine blade. Should be used by someone skillful to create magical dishes.

Wow. Amazing find. I am like you loving the pure geometry of these knives. I really enjoyed this video. Congrats on the new sound equipment. Not sure kitty sounds as cute with the voice of satan, but I am sure there is a story there. haha.

@@chefknivesenthusiast i m a collector of those awesome knife.I own two itsuo doi yanagiba, one very old Keijiro Doi Fuguhiki, some Kenji Togashi knifes and my favorit a Kazuo Doi Deba. :-D
