Keeway Superlight 125 SE test ride and some thoughts
I was away on holiday in Portugal for a couple of weeks and decided to take my brother in law's Keeway Superlight 125 SE out for a spin, on a hot and sunny day.
What a great surprise, this bike was. Very relaxed riding, ideal for a trip on a summer's day.

Nice video. The bike looks excellent. 125s never used to look like this. I have a Keeway and it’s excellent (a K Light)
Considering to get one for you is definitely the best compliment you can do to a motorcycle! That is the best selling motorcycle in Portugal, and you just discovered why 😜 PS: Sometime someone commented in a certain video of my channel the fact I rode wearing a t-shirt... riding in Portugal is different, I guess hehe Grande abraço companheiro ✌️
I would buy it for long distance riding. Planning a trip from Italy to Portugal. Just relax, slow cruising in hot, sunny summer.

I was thinking of the NE of England to the Algarve. May wait till I can ride a bigger cruiser tho haha Going to get one of these next moth hopefully for general riding

It looks like a perfect bike for cruising around a holiday destination in n spain or Portugal, but I'm guessing that getting of a Suzuki GSXR1000 and onto a keeway superlite 125 would be hard.

Charming bike - the carburated one stops for a full throttle in neutral, I think the injected doesn't! :)

The crash bars look cool, they are pretty bikes, and they are slowly improving. Although they do still have room for improvements the welding quality is far superior to older chinese bikes and the engines are not too bad at all. They do still rust quick if you dont keep them clean, waxed - but for the price they can be good value if the dealership honours the warranty. I'd advise anyone who's considering one to look up a bit about the dealers before choosing one - make sure they have a good reputation. I've seen some burned by bad dealers

Top speed?
Sorry i had my UM renegade commando classic stolen (then they set it on fire aftet they had fun) cant seen to get one now but this Superlight is everywhere....whats the difference with the SE n LTD version

The SE has the chrome details, windscreen, foot pads and the leather bags. The LTD has none of that. The SE tries to look more like the American police bikes of old, while the LTD has more of a naked/stealthier look. Other than that they are exactly the same machines
Would you recommend this for a first time rider?

@@felixjuroku did you miss the part in which he says its a new bike with 380 odd miles on the clock, there is no way to know the top speed due to it running it in!
And in the UK i need the CBT even though ive driven HGV and Double decker buses and owned a Honda 200 on L plates years ago,and the UK bikers are declining well i wonder why,but i can ride a 28mph Moped on my car licence what a joke as Escooters Ebikes are up and down the Prom by me doing more than 28mph with kids on them i get my kicks on big Quad bikes instead now in the likes of Cyprus Greece i hate the thought of taking a CBT and L plates still on a 125 after the experience ive had in my past there was a time in my lifetime i could ride a 250cc on L plates and i have riden a mates 250 back then a few times,but a 28mph Moped lol my old Yamaha FS1E Fizzy did over 40 mph my first bike at 16. But thats a loverly 125cc you got there i never liked the older scooters but i know the modern ones are nice now,

I own one, I weight 70kg and the bike will top out with me at 70mph, although this will vary depending on weight etc... hope this helps!
